Jonathan Price

Price is a cold-blooded man who can think sensibly in various situations. At times completely ruthless, Price, however, is not an unscrupulous killer – he clearly has quite pronounced moral principles, and there is a "bright side" in his character. Sometimes he can show compassion and humanity, sometimes he can demonstrate truly impressive ruthlessness. Jonathan "John" Price was born in the United Kingdom in 1985, but almost nothing is known about his early life. At the age of sixteen, John Price joined the British Army, served for eighteen years and was one of the youngest cadets to graduate from the Royal Military Academy. He was selected for the Special Service commandos and received the "badge" of a member of the 22nd Special Air Service and rose to the rank of lieutenant until the early 2000s. When he was a lieutenant, Price participated in the assassination attempt on Imran Zakhaev along with Captain McMillan. It is assumed that Zakhaev was injured or killed, but there is no confirmation of this yet.

In 2009, Price commanded the SAS Bravo Six team, and Commander Karim, the leader of the liberation forces there, informed him about the Russian chemical laboratory in Urzikstan. Price participated in the raid on the facility and saved Farah Karim, her brother Khadir and the rebels from death. After that, Price instructed Farah and Khadir to set up camp in the mountains away from General Roman Barkov and the Russians.

In 2011, Price was promoted to the rank of captain and participated in countless missions that required him to stop terrorists, rescue hostages, and capture or kill valuable objects. Around this time or earlier, Price met Kate Laswell at a football match so that she could perform surgery on him, and since then they have developed a close professional relationship. He works closely with Western intelligence agencies when dealing with high-value targets, becoming known for his skills and tactics. In addition, Price also knew Nikolai and considered him an old comrade whom he could rely on when he had to go beyond the rules. Price also has a debt to Kamarov after an unknown incident in Beirut, Lebanon. Prior to the events of the game, Captain Price worked with SAS operative Jacob Thorne, but the latter moved due to "ethical differences".
