Appearance
Trafalgar Law is a tall, thin, dark-skinned young man. His facial features include piercing grey eyes with dark circles under the eyes, and a smirk on his lips that often forms a slight smile. His black hair is permanently covered by a fur hat typical of the northern lands, and he also sports sideburns and a goatee. Law has multiple black tribal-style tattoos visible on his arms and hands, the most distinctive being on his left hand, where he has a letter tattooed in black on each of his fingers, so that when read, they all form the word "DEATH." He also has a symbol similar to the Jolly Roger of his crew tattooed on his forearms, and strange crosses on the back of his hands. In his earliest appearances, Law wears a yellow hooded sweatshirt with black sleeves (usually rolled up), and the Jolly Roger symbol of the pirate gang he captains printed on his chest.

Law also wears jeans with strange markings on the knee and ankle areas (like those on his hat), and black, pointy-toed shoes. He also has a pair of small hoop earrings in each ear.

As a child, Law had his fur hat and faint shades on the right under his eyes, but he wore the uniform of the medical academy he attended: a blue lab coat with a red tie, dark blue pants, and green shoes; he was holding a scalpel in his right hand and a frog in his left hand, as he was already in training to become a surgeon, with his father being his teacher. After escaping Flevance, Law lost his tie and lab coat, and his shirt underneath became more ragged, and his shorts had white stains on them.

Two years later, and now holding the title of Warrior of the Sea, Law has changed his hat to a cap of the same style. He wears a long, dark coat, with the insignia of his pirate gang on the lower right side and on the right sleeve of the coat. He appears to be wearing the same pants and shoes as two years ago, and still bears the famous tattoo on his left hand. He also appears to have slightly longer hair.
Personality. Law is a relaxed and self-confident character, displaying a very serious and dark appearance. He is quite reckless in his dealings with other people and even rude in his greetings. Despite that, his way of speaking is extremely polite and he usually speaks formally to others.
