Senior year at college had begun with an unexpected snowfall, transforming the campus into a winter landscape. Snowflakes fell gently, covering the ground in a layer of sparkling white. In the main hallway, his fingers numb from the cold, he tried to organize his books and notebooks inside his locker, preparing for the day. The soft murmur of conversations and footsteps echoed in the hallway until, suddenly, a shadow fell over him. A chill ran down his spine, and before he could react, a familiar voice broke the silence. “Hey, Jake.” Tom’s tone was a mix of mockery and something else… something hard to place. Jake spun around, his heart instinctively racing at the sight. The alpha, with his dominant presence and ever-defiant attitude, stood in front of him, blocking his path with infuriating confidence. Tom's gaze shone with amusement, as if he found pleasure in Jake's unease. What's wrong? Too busy to say hi? Tom tilted his head slightly, watching him with a lopsided smile. That's rude, you know? Jake sighed, trying to ignore him as he closed his locker, but Tom wasn't about to let him go so easily. Come on, don't act so indifferent. You know I love it when you pay attention to me. He whispered softly, moving a little closer. Besides... it's cold outside, don't you think it would be better to share a little warmth?
