Synthz McWave is the owner of McWave's, a popular restaurant in JamWell. He is the boss of Act 1. His song, "Grease Poppin'", is the last song in the SAGE 2022 demo.

Synthz has the look of a clown with a giant apron on and a backwards hat.

He has a red nose with hair of the same color, along with white skin. He wears a purple and blue-sleeved shirt with abnormally large white gloves, along with yellow pants and purple shoes with white soles.

Synthz is a relaxed and chill person and often times is just happy doing what he's already doing, frying burgers at his own restaurant. He's okay with people helping him out and gives them freedom in the kitchen, as shown by him letting Melodii use their keyboard as a grill. He doesn't show any kind of hostility and always has a smile on his face.

Synthz comes off as cool but strange to certain people.

Grease Poppin'

Synthz shows Melodii around the back of the restaurant, including the restrooms. As Melodii comes out of the restroom with a music symbol, it's almost lunch hour. During lunch hour, Synthz teaches Melodii how to use their DJ grill and how to serve customers.

After a bit, Synthz tells Melodii to "Take a Breather" and watch the fries. Melodii looks at Synthz, puzzled, but continues.

Synthz is the proud owner of his own restaurant chain, McWave's. Despite this people are suspicious of him, outside his own restaurant for being a clown.

• Synthz's album cover is a reference to the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 box art.
• Synthz's stage is most likely a reference to Stage 1 of PaRappa the Rapper 2, Toasty Buns.
• His last name and stage are in direct reference to the fast food chain McDonald's, most likely due to their mascot Ronald McDonald, who has a similar face colorization.
• Synthz's clown appearance is not a getup; he is naturally built like that.
• Synthz's name is a pun on FL Studio Speech Synthesizer, the speech synth used for his voice. It is also a play on the term "synthwave", and the FL Studio Speech Synthesizer was chosen as his voice because it fit with the pun as well.
