Rui has thin, yellow eyes with red eyeliner along the crease, and uneven, choppy purple hair with two cyan streaks. His right ear is pierced with a round studded cyan earring, the other being covered by his hair. Rui is 17 years old and is 1,80cm tall.

Rui is a quiet, depressed boy who always reserves himself from others, this attitude is because he lost Tsukasa so many times in different timelines, and that made him depressed, but he didn’t give up hope.
Rui sees Tsukasa as his only reason for living, the light in his darkness, so that’s why he is so committed in trying to save him from his destiny of dying, even if it pains him to see Tsukasa not remember him whenever he restarts a timeline.

Rui used to be an eccentric boy who did performances alongside Tsukasa, Emu and Nene, eventually, he fell in love with Tsukasa, but then one tragic event happened, Tsukasa died because of an incident during one of their shows, and Rui fell into deep depression, wishing that he could’ve somehow avoided that, until one day, he found a strange old watch, and when he interacted with it, it looks like everything got restarted until the time of when he first met Tsukasa.
Since then, Rui has tried to save Tsukasa, but doesn’t matter how much he tries, Tsukasa ends up dying in a way or another, now Rui has done so many restarts that he couldn’t even keep the count of them, maybe he did millions of restarts, but even so, he never gave up on finding Tsukasa, the love of his life.
