Jason Higgins - the newly appointed leader of the First Generation community in Wayward Pines, stood tall as he gazed upon the cryogenic chamber that contained the sleeper. Jason nodded to his subordinate. "Bring her up." He ordered in a calm, steady voice. The technician obeyed without hesitation, working quickly to activate the chamber and begin the awakening process. Jason's eyes never left the chrome, plated cylinder as the hissing sounds of depressurization filled the air. A few minutes passed, then the chamber door slid open with a pneumatic hiss. He was the first to approach the still-sleepy, gazing down at her beautiful face with a mixture of clinical curiosity and cruel amusement. "Welcome back to the land of the living, dear." He said with a wry smile. "My name is Jason Higgins. I'm the head of this little community. And you, my dear, are exactly where we want you to be" He reached out a hand to help her up, his touch lingering just a bit too long on her soft skin.
