Appearance (Default) Taro's default appearance has light skin, charcoal grey eyes, and short, dark hair. Taro wears the default school uniform, with gold buttons and black cloth, unless the player changes the outfits (he will then wear that specific dress codes' generic male uniform). If possible, YandereDev would want him to be slightly taller.[4] This is his default look as he is meant to look like a generic male anime protagonist.[5]

Upon starting the game, the player can customize his skin tone, hairstyle, hair color, eye color, eyewear, and facial hair, but if no changes are made or the process is skipped, Taro will appear with his default look. The player might be able to choose his gender in the final version of the game.

Personality The Japanese word 'senpai' refers to someone who has seniority over someone else. For example, if you are a first-year student, all second-year and third-year students are your 'senpai'. If you start working at a new job, any co-worker who has been employed at the workplace longer than you is your 'senpai'. In Yandere Simulator, the title of "Senpai" is given to the young man (or young woman) that the protagonist is infatuated with. The player is given the option of choosing Senpai's gender at the beginning of the game; they might be 'Senpai-kun', or they might be 'Senpai-chan'. If Senpai is a male, his name is Taro Yamada, and if she is a female, her name is Taeko Yamada. Over the course of the school year, ten different girls will fall in love with Senpai. There is a myth at school that if a girl confesses her love to a boy under the cherry tree behind the school on a Friday, the two of them will love each other forever. Every girl who falls in love with Senpai plans to confess at 6:00 PM on Friday. If there is anyone who wants to keep Senpai all to herself, she has until 6:00 PM on Friday to eliminate the competition. male

Ayano Aishi has pale skin, dark grey eyes, and straight, long black hair. She stands at a height of 165 cm (5 ft 5 in), weighs 43.5 kg (96 lbs), [2] and has average-sized breasts. [3] Her hair is tied into a high ponytail with sharp bangs swept to the right, the middle one being the most prominent, and two strands of hair that frame her face, reaching to her shoulders. She's usually portrayed wearing default school uniform: a white and navy blue sailor uniform shirt with a red mini scarf, a matching navy blue skirt, black thigh high socks, and black shoes. With all uniforms, she wears black thigh high socks. When in Buraza Town, Ayano will wear a teal-green shirt, blue denim skirt, black thigh high socks, black gloves, and sneakers.Personality Ayano Aishi is the protagonist of Yandere Simulator. She is known as "Yandere-chan" to players of the game, and has been given the cute nickname "Yan-chan" by her classmates.

Since early childhood, Ayano has suffered from an inexplicable, incurable condition. In short, this condition leaves her with a perpetual sense of being empty, hollow, and incomplete. As a result, she has never been able to experience satisfaction, fulfillment, or happiness, and has not been able to experience emotions in the same capacity as other people. As she grew older, she learned to pretend to be a normal person in order to avoid drawing negative attention from others, but was never able to feel any degree of empathy towards other human beings.

Ayano attends a post-highschool academy called "Akademi." On the first day of her second year at Akademi, Ayano came into physical contact with a young man named Taro Yamada. In that moment, she gained the ability to experience everything that had been missing from her life; she felt complete, she felt fulfilled, and she felt powerful emotions. Meeting Taro was like seeing color for the first time, hearing music for the first time, and feeling warmth for the first time. In his presence, female

Appearance Hanako has two pigtails that reach her shoulders with two strands of hair protruding, similar to the first drafts of her appearance. She has a red heart hairpin on the top right side of her hair and she has fair skin.[6] It is also known that she will eventually wear special stockings to make herself stand out,[7] as well as unique panties[8] that suit her personality.[9]

Personality Hanako is Senpai's younger sister. She loves her big brother more than anything in the world and depends on him for almost everything. She is very possessive of him and becomes upset when he won't spend time with her.

After nine weeks of gameplay, Hanako decides that she just can't bear to be enrolled in a different school than her beloved brother, and transfers into his school so that she can be with him all day long.

Hanako is deathly afraid that if her brother gets a girlfriend, he'll forget all about her and refuse to spend time with her. She has made it her mission to stop him from getting a girlfriend at all costs so that nobody else can have her big brother's attention. Senpai would never want to do anything that would make his little sister cry... this would spell doom for anyone who has fallen in love with Senpai. female

Appearance Osana's current appearance includes orange eyes and orange hair tied into twin-tails reaching her knees, with the ends of her hair fading into a light blonde ombré. Her scrunchies, thigh-high stockings, and panties are salmon pink with white polka-dots, and she wears a red bow on the left side of her head. She has a bust size of 1.15.

She's 158.5 cm tall (about 5'2).[4]

If Osana is eliminated peacefully, she will appear in subsequent weeks with a short bob haircut, in reference to her conversation with Senpai on Thursday before school.

Personality Osana and Senpai have been close friends ever since they were very young children. They have always lived next-door to each other, and have always walked to school together. Despite their closeness, Osana is quite rude and harsh towards Senpai; she is always easily irritated and quick to anger when he is around. The reason for this behavior is because Osana has developed romantic feelings for Senpai, but she is afraid of letting him know how she truly feels about him. She doesn't want him to know how she really feels about him, so she is mean to him at almost every opportunity. However, her true desire is to confess her feelings to him underneath the cherry tree behind the school...and if nothing stops her, that day will come very soon. female

Appearance She has messy, shoulder-length hair that is dark navy blue. She has a fringe hanging down the middle of her face, flowing across her right cheek. Oka's hair was less messy when she was a child[3]. This was because her mother would comb her hair with love everyday, and they took good care of her. When she grew older, she was responsible for her appearance, and her parents did not treat her like a child anymore. This is where her hair started to become messy and sloppy.[3]

Her eyes are light purple. She has large black rings around her eyes due to lack of sleep. Her lips and skin are pale, and the upper half of her face is slightly shadowed. Since she is a club president, she wears a "Red Armband of Leadership" on her left arm. Her bust size is 1. YandereDev stated that she may be the shortest rival.[4]

She walks very slow, with her hands clasped together. Oka is always looking shyly at the ground. As of the June 1st, 2016 Build, Oka wears light blue-grey thigh-high spiderweb stockings and fingerless gloves. Her panties are also black. In the future, Oka will have very pale skin.[5] According to her full body reference, it appears that in the future, Oka will have a pentagram drawn on her armband.

Like all Occult Club members, Oka wears a black choker. However, instead of having a crescent moon on it, it has a silver spider. If the Occult Club disbands, she will not wear the choker anymore. In Oka's original design, she was supposed to wear a turtleneck underneath a dark blue blazer. It was scrapped because Oka's model could not support two models of clothing at the same time. As of the April 10th, 2017 Build, Oka can wear this outfit by pressing the A key in the easter egg menu. female

Appearance Mida has dark brown hair tied up in a ponytail and brown eyes. She's the tallest rival, but her exact height wasn't stated.[3] She has a beauty mark on the bottom left side of her face and red lipstick. She wears a tight black suit jacket with a white dress shirt underneath and a red bra slightly showing. She also wears a tight, short, scarlet skirt, black thigh-length stockings with a black garter belt attached, and red high heels. The Headmaster's Tapes will explain why is she allowed to dress like that.[4]

Personality Mida is a substitute teacher who absolutely loves her job; there is nothing that she enjoys more than having dozens of eyes all directed towards her...especially if those eyes belong to teenage boys.

Mida will appear at school in the seventh week of gameplay in order to fill in for an unavailable teacher. She will quickly begin hunting for new 'prey', and Senpai will catch her attention.

Her hobby is seducing schoolboys, and so far, no man has ever been able to resist her charms. If she decides that she wants someone, they have no hope of escape. Senpai won't be able to escape her clutches unless someone takes drastic measures... female

Appearance She has fair skin, light pink hair, and amethyst colored eyes. She wears a short-sleeved white nurse uniform with a low collar and a nurse's cap. She also wears light pink stockings with a white garter belt and white flat heels.

Description Muja is a young woman whose greatest desire in life is to be helpful to others...although she usually ends up causing more problems than she solves due to her air-headed and klutzy nature.

Muja is studying to become a nurse, and will be recieving training from Akademi's school nurse during the sixth week of gameplay. She will become fond of Senpai very quickly, during a point in time when he definitely needs someone taking care of his health.

Although she might be a little clumsy and accident-prone, she is a very sweet and caring person, and it's very easy to see how any schoolboy might develop a crush on herfemale

Amai wears the default school uniform with white slanted mint striped stockings unless customized by the player.

She has slightly, wavy shoulder-length light brown hair, pulled back by a light mint green kerchief, mint green eyes and thick brown eyebrows. She has a light mint green apron with a front pocket (later two) and frills at the trims. She wears the "Red Armband of Leadership" with a resemblance of a cupcake on her left arm. If the Cooking Club is disbanded, Amai will remove her armband and apron for the rest of the game.

Personality Amai is the president of the school's cooking club. Her culinary skills are far beyond her age, and nothing makes her happier than seeing people enjoy the food that she has prepared.

Amai will be absent from school during the first week of gameplay, but she will meet Senpai immediately after the events of Week 1, at a point in time when Senpai is feeling sad and vulnerable. She will quickly forge a bond with him, during a point in time when Senpai deeply needs a new friend.

With her kind and caring nature, it's easy to see how Senpai could easily fall for her within a week's time. If nobody stands in her way, Senpai will belong to her in no time at all. Remember: the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach!female

Appearance Asu has tanned skin, short blonde hair with a small ahoge, and sky blue eyes. She wears black and yellow shorts under her skirt and two black wristbands with yellow stripes. She wears yellow swimming goggles on her forehead. She has a black and yellow jacket tied around her waist, and wears the Red Armband of Leadership with a symbol of a person swimming on her left arm.

Personality Asu is the president of the school's sports club. She's the top student athlete in the region, and many of her classmates predict that she'll be winning gold medals at the Olympics in a few years. Asu won't actually appear at school until the fifth week of gameplay, but she will quickly make friends with Senpai. Senpai will be feeling drained after the last four weeks, and some exercise might be just what he needs to put his mind off of recent events.

Her cheerful and energetic nature makes it very easy for her to make friends - or find her way into someone's heart. Her easygoing attitude and glowing smile might steal Senpai's heart in no time at all...female

Appearance Megami has pale complexion, rosy cheeks, silver eyes, and long silver hair with fringed bangs and a prominent ahoge that reaches down to her legs. Megami is dressed in the school council uniform, which includes black stockings, gloves, and a red-stitched choker with bows. She has a "Red Armband of Leadership" on her left arm that reads 生徒会, which is kanji for Student Council.

Personality Megami is going to be a hard taskmaster. She is seen as mature, responsible, and clever by everybody. Her IQ is a whopping 140. Some claim, however, that Megami acts as if everything she says and does is scripted and prepared. While her father tolerates Ayano's (the player) attendance at school, Megami does not and confronts her directly. It's unclear why she's acting so boldly. Instead of pepper spray, she would arrest Ayano with her own hands.

Megami exudes a captivating aura of confidence and maturity that may make adults feel inferior to her, particularly when she speaks to adults as if they are her equals rather than her seniors. Megami's upbringing has taught her that sobbing is reserved for failures, and that it is unfit for a member of the Saikou family. Megami is said to despise or be afraid of males, owing to her only admitting women to the Student Council, and that she is responsible for Aoi Ryugoku's (student council member) lost eye.female

Appearance Kizana was always meant to have fancy purple hair, according to YandereDev, as purple is the color of royalty. In the FAQ, YandereDev has stated that her hairstyle has not yet been finalized. Since she is a club president, she will wear a "Red Armband of Leadership" on her left arm with the 'comedy and tragedy' masks, representing her place in the Drama Club.

Her elegant, violet-purple hair is styled in twin drills on either sides of her head with two red roses in front of them. Her eyes are a pretty shade of purple. She also wears red lipstick. Kizana wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player. Her purple thigh-high stockings are patterned with red roses and vines.

Kizana has an alternate design as well; an albino look. In this design, her color scheme is altered to fit that of an albino. Her hair is changed to an icy white tinted with blue. She wears bluish white lipstick to match. Her eyes are changed to a pale pink. However, this is only a planned feature, and is not yet implemented.

Personality As she is unimplemented, Kizana's full personality is unknown. She's described as being arrogant and egotistical, perhaps even distasteful. Her short-term goal is to become the most popular girl in school, and her long-term goal is to become the most famous actress who ever lived. She's best described as a "himedere," which consists of the Japanese words 姫 (hime) meaning "princess" and デレデレ (deredere) meaning "lovey-dovey." These characters, usually females, are described as snobby, confident and think of themselves as royalty, hence the name.

YandereDev may change her personality to one who strives for originality, rather than an arrogant snob. He says this would probably make her a more likeable character.female

Appearance Info-chan has short red hairs that seems to fan out at the ends, along with a parted fringe. Her eyes are red as well, as seen in illustrations. Always depicted with rectangular red-rimmed glasses. Although she is not a normal student, she still wears the default school uniform, regardless of customization along with white crew socks. The rest of her body is shown as a black silhouette, however the player can peek into the Info Club to see her.

Personality Currently, not much is known about Info-chan, not even her face or full name. It can be inferred that she is a mischievous character, and given her willingness to incite murder, voyeurism, gossip, and bullying, and her apparent indifference to the effects of her actions on others, she likely has low moral standards, if any at all.

Info-chan is shown to be uncaring towards other people and their lives. She is merciless, and serves only for her own gain. She isn't above manipulating, blackmailing, or breaking the law. She doesn't feel guilt or remorse whenever she harms others. She also tends to be very persistent in her goals. Info-chan is extremely intelligent and resourceful, being able to learn almost anything if she really wanted. She also is very crafty and hard-working, as she gathers information using unknown methods on her computer all day long.

In the first intro, Info-chan seems outwardly confident and very curious, as finding out secrets about other students is a serious hobby of hers, not just a job. She's very ambitious, as she wants her newspaper to become popular badly enough that she goes to the trouble of asking Ayano to stir up turmoil through murder. Info-chan seemed dedicated to her work and apparently poured her heart and soul into running the school newspaper. Her desire for Ayano to not kill off the entire school wasn't out of sympathy or humanity, but due to the fact that the newspaper would die if no one was alive to read it.female

Appearance Play VideoBrand logo She wears a torn jacket from the male uniform as a cape, and adhesive bandages on her arms and legs. She has spiky blonde hair with tufts on the top. She has a large, X-shaped scar on her left cheek and light brown eyes. She has pale skin and bandages on her arms.

Description Osoro is the leader of the school's gang of delinquents. Very little is known about her past, or her goals. She has been known to be violent, so most people tend to stay away from her out of fear.

Osoro will be absent from school for a very long time, and will not make her appearance until the eighth week of gameplay. Against all odds, she will develop a bond with Senpai, who normally keeps his distance from people like Osoro.

Senpai and Osoro are polar opposites - so, what kind of experience could possibly cause them to form a friendship? What does Senpai know about her? What does he see inside of her? And what could stop their friendship from blossoming into something deeper? female

Appearance Midori wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player.

She has mid-back length green hair with two strands that reach her stomach and green eyes. She has a bust size of 1.

Midori's first hairstyle was waist-length and green with bangs parted evenly on both sides. Midori's panties were changed to green for the "Senpai Customization Update" because of a Twitter conversation.[4] They were later changed back to white because YandereDev was waiting for some panty models that can be attached to a girl's body.[5] Her stockings were green but were also changed to white socks, most likely for similar reasons. She was the first student to have different colored panties. As of the August 15th, 2016 Build, she once again had green stockings and panties.

In the November 15th, 2015 Build, her hairstyle was changed to one similar to Ayano's hairstyle. With straight-cut bangs, her hair was longer, and not tucked back into a ponytail. YandereDev thought the old hairstyle was ugly.[6] He would like Midori's hairstyle to look a specific way, but there are no volunteers to work on this.[7]

Her hairstyle as of the January 1st, 2016 Build, had her hair in the back go to her elbows. On her left and right side, she had some hair that went to her elbow while some of it only went down to her chin. Her bangs were cut short and met in the middle.

As of the February 8th, 2016 Build, Midori has bangs parted in the middle with hair that ends right below her bust.

As of the October 15th, 2017 Build, Midori's stockings have been replaced with short green socks.

As of the August 18th, 2018 Build, she has a red bandana tied around her phone, symbolizing her membership in the Gaming Club.

As of the May 2nd, 2019 Build, her socks have changed color to match her hair.

Personality A very curious and inquisitive girl. She has gained a reputation for constantly asking foolish questions, which can often irritate her teachers and other students. female

Mai wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player.

Mai has knee length pastel pink hair with two strands framing her face that curl with at her throat. Her bangs are purple at the tips. She has red eyes in her profile picture. She also wears a large red bow on the back of her head and light pink lipstick. A young woman who is pursuing an 'anime aesthetic'. To achieve this unusual goal, she never cuts her hair, wears special contact lenses, and asks people to refer to her by a nickname inspired by otaku culture.female

Appearance Budo wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player.

He has messy, feathered, dark gray hair that fans around his head. His hairstyle was the same as Haruto Yuto's, but flipped horizontally and re-colored. His eyes are the same dark grey color as well. He has a white headband with the kanji "必" and "勝", which combined means "victory" on it. Since he is a Club president, he wears the "Red Armband of Leadership" with a resemblance of a yin-and-yang symbol on his left arm.

When his club has been shut down or there is low atmosphere, he crosses his arms. Yandere Dev says this is most likely a bug.[3]

When in the Martial Arts Club, he dons a traditional karate gi. If the club disbands, he will not wear the headband anymore.

YandereDev currently imagines his height as 5'7 and his weight is 185 pounds, of which 35 pounds is muscle.[4]

Personality Budo is a popular figure in Akademi Academy, known for his friendly and approachable attitude, his powerful physique, and his undeniable skill at martial arts. Ever since he became the leader of the Martial Arts Club, he has maintained a 100% winning streak and is considered to be the strongest student at school. Budo became the leader of the Martial Arts Club after defeating the club's previous leader, who resigned after being beaten by her own pupil. There are rumors that the reason why Budo dedicated himself to martial arts is because he developed powerful romantic feelings for the club's previous leader, and desperately wanted to impress her. Budo always changes the subject when asked about this topic, neither confirming nor denying the rumors. Budo very rarely speaks ill of others but has been known to express a strong distaste for bullies and delinquents. He is quick to rush to the aid of anyone that is being harassed by other students, making it clear that 'If you pick a fight with them, you're picking a fight with me, too!'male

Appearance Raibaru has pale yellow-toned skin, flushed cheeks, orange-amber eyes, and a soft smile. Her bright orange hair is worn in two slightly curled pigtails. Her bust size is 1.5.

She wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player. To keep her hair up, she wears ruffled pink and white polka-dotted scrunchies and a purple ribbon, matching with Osana Najimi. She also wears black shoes with white loose socks.

Personality Exactly one year before Yandere Simulator takes place, Raibaru was the president of the Martial Arts Club. She was a very good teacher, and taught many students self-defense, even if they weren't actually members of the club. Many students underestimated Raibaru due to her cute and girly appearance. A lot of students challenged her to duels, believing that they could easily defeat her...but until then she never lost a single match. She was very proud of her 100% win streak. It earned her the nickname of 'The Indestructible Rival' by students and 'Mysterious Obstacle' by Ayano Aishi, the player. Raibaru's star pupil was Budo. Budo learned many things from his sensei Raibaru and held an immense amount of respect for her. At the end of the semester, Budo unexpectedly challenged Raibaru to a duel. She accepted his challenge, and to everyone's surprise, Budo defeated Raibaru, shattering the 100% win streak that she had worked so hard to maintain. However, Raibaru was not angry when she was defeated; she was relieved! For a long time, she had wanted to stop practicing martial arts and pick up another hobby, but she felt obligated to keep practicing martial arts just because of her winning streak. Now that her streak was broken, and one of her own students had surpassed her, she felt like it was finally okay to quit martial arts. Raibaru resigned as the club's president and promoted Budo to the position of club leader. All of her pupils were very sad to see her go, but they respected her decision... female

The students of Akademi Academy find it very difficult to describe Geiju. He is known for being a man of few words - VERY few words. He speaks almost exclusively in one-word or two-word sentences, and sometimes doesn't bother responding to questions at all. There are rumors that he has never been witnessed expressing any kind of emotion whatsoever.

Some students see him as a "tortured artist" whose silence stems from his frustrations with art and people. Other students see him as a pretentious hipster who is trying to make himself look deep by being untalkative. Some students think his taciturn personality makes him dreamy and cool, and other students speculate that he may have some sort of speech disorder or mental condition.

Many students wonder why such an asocial person would want to become a club leader - but regardless of his reticent nature, he does a proper job of operating his club. He can be found in his clubroom almost every spare moment that he is not in class. His artwork is widely regarded as being very impressive - but he is frequently seen scrapping his work and starting over from scratch for no apparent reason.

He seems to dislike being distracted while painting, but will always make time to critique others' artwork if he is asked to (and sometimes without being asked to). Even though he never says more than two words per sentence, he always finds a way to impart sagely advice that helps his clubmembers to drastically improve their art skills.

Is he introverted and shy, or a cynical misanthrope? Is he a tortured soul, or a pretentious poser? Does he prefer to stay silent, or is there something that is forcing him to be tight-lipped? Nobody knows what to make of him, but everyone can recognize that he is an artist of great skill who is destined to be widely renowned for his works.male

When he's not playing video games, talking about video games, writing about video games, reading about video games, trying to develop video games, listening to video game soundtracks, or watching video game streams, then he's probably miserable and wishing that he was playing a video game instead of whatever he's doing. A portable gaming system is almost always in his hands, and he has been caught playing games in class numerous times.

He is completely unable to relate to other people who don't play video games, and has zero interest in conversing about any other topic. His strong desire to find like-minded individuals was what led him to form the Gaming Club. His club application was denied by the school, but he still operates an unofficial club in a spare room, anyway. The faculty doesn't ask him to stop, since he's not hurting anyone, but he isn't granted any of the privileges that are enjoyed by other clubs. With that said, the students of the school acknowledge his club as a "real club", even if the school faculty does not.

Aside from his passion for gaming, he is also known for being very difficult to get along with. He becomes irritated very easily, is a very sore loser when playing competitive games, and generally has a very poor attitude. His antisocial nature has caused him to experience a lot of teasing and bullying, so he prefers to remain in his makeshift clubroom during most hours of the day. The few people who have managed to become friends with him have observed that he secretly has a very strong desire for the approval of others.male

Uekiya is known throughout the school for her kind and caring nature. She cannot resist helping others in need, and is always trying to make everyone around her feel as comfortable as possible. She has been nicknamed "Everyone's Big Sister" for doting on her classmates as if she was a loving family member.

Uekiya's strongest passion is undeniably gardening. She sees infinite beauty in flowers, and takes great pleasure in growing them, arranging them, and sharing them with others. She has also proven herself to be an adept landscape artist. A career in horticulture is undoubtedly in her future.

If she's certain that there is nobody in her vicinity who needs her help, then Uekiya can always be found in the Gardening Club, tending to her various plants, which she sometimes refers to as her "children". As the president of the club, she is always delighted to assist others in developing their own gardening skills.female

Last year, Miyuji was one of the quietest students at school. A shy bookworm, she usually kept to herself and avoided most social situations. She joined the Light Music Club purely to avoid the negative stigma that is associated with being clubless, and rarely participated in club activities or spoke to her clubmembers. The Light Music Club was a perfect match for her, since it was widely known for being the most relaxed and easygoing club in the whole school.

One day, towards the end of the last semester, Miyuji arrived at school with a completely new personality and totally different sense of fashion. She was full of energy and self-confidence - the complete opposite of her previous self. She convinced the president of the Light Music Club to give her ownership of the club, and immediately changed its focus from soft mood music to a blend of punk rock and pop. Everyone who had been acquainted with her was completely shocked by her sudden, unexplained metamorphosis.

At the same time that she unveiled her new persona, she also began to demonstrate exceptional skill with the electric guitar. She quickly attracted the attention of other musically-talented students, and it didn't take long for them to form a band - the Strawberry Thieves. They regularly thrill other students with performances in the Music Clubroom, and are quickly developing a fanbase among both students and faculty alike. The Strawberry Thieves are widely expected to have an extremely successful musical career once they graduate.

Anyone with the slightest knowledge of musical instruments could instantly tell that Miyuji's newfound skills could not have possibly been formed overnight. She must have been practicing for years to develop such skill; but how had she kept it a secret, and for what purpose? What drove her to completely change everything about herself, from her fashion sense to her personality? female

In previous years, the Photography Club was a serious club about the art of picture-taking, but the club is presently composed of a carefree group of students who actually have very little interest in photography, and are really just using the clubroom as their private hangout spot. The leader of this club is Fureddo, a young man who is known for his charisma and leadership skills - although he rarely uses his natural-born gifts for any meaningful purpose, and usually just spends his time goofing around with his laid-back friends.

As their time at Akademi Academy draws to a close, the members of the Photography Club are slowly beginning to regret the carefree way they have been spending their after-school hours. They want to look back on their school years with pride; they don't want to feel like they accomplished nothing noteworthy during their youth. They are slowly becoming restless as they begin to yearn for a greater purpose; a challenge to overcome, an adversary to face, a mystery to solve.

For now, the Photography Club is just a carefree group of friends...but they would quickly leap at any opportunity to make something of themselves. If any kind of mystery were to present itself, the Photography Club would immediately investigate the situation - and Fureddo, with his natural talent for leadership, would spearhead the effort to unravel any unsolved mystery, or identify the culprit of any unsolved crime. Needless to say, this could spell doom for anyone trying to get away with misdeeds at school... male

Kaga Kusha Kaga is the most intelligent - and most eccentric - student in Akademi Academy. He was reading by age 2, writing by age 4, could speak multiple languages by age 6, demonstrated a genius-level IQ by age 8, and passed multiple college-level proficiency tests before age 10. Despite his genius, he is not a well-liked figure at Akademi Academy; he is prone to extremely bizarre behavior and frequently expresses thoughts that frighten and concern the people around him.

He will openly speak of his aspirations for "world domination" to anyone that is willing to listen, although he refuses to divulge the specifics of his master plan. It is common knowledge that he has a deep obsession with Saikou Corporation, the most powerful business conglomerate in Japan. He has openly stated that he fully intends to become the CEO of Saikou Corp as soon as possible - but he never divulges how he intends to do so.

He could have easily gotten into a top university, but instead chose to enroll in Akademi Academy, stating that it is "the first step" towards his ultimate ambitions. Many students have observed him studying the school's Student Council President, Megami Saikou, in a way that borders on stalking.

His behavior can only be tolerated by other individuals who are as eccentric as he is. As a result, his club has come to be populated almost entirely by Akademi Academy's most unusual students. male

Kocho Shuyona is the headmaster of Yandere-chan's school. He is over 60 years old, and he has held the same position since 1985, when the prestigious school first opened its doors.

At the beginning of his career, he was a cheerful, optimistic, energetic young man who was full of hope for the future. However, over the course of his long tenure, his demeanor has changed drastically. He has become a cynical, pessimistic, world-weary old man who seems to have completely lost his faith in the world - especially its youth.

What happened over the course of the past few decades to change this man in such drastic ways? What regrets does he live with? What kind of decisions will he make now, at the end of his career, now that he has so little to lose? male

Genka Kunahito is the guidance counselor at Yandere-chan's school. In addition to helping students deal with personal problems, giving students advice on what colleges to apply for, and helping students decide what careers to pursue, she is also responsible for administering punishments to students who break school rules.

If a teacher catches the player breaking school rules, the player will be sent directly to the guidance counselor, where they will have to explain their actions or face a harsh punishment. Genka is a strict disciplinarian, but she has been known to show mercy to students who can provide a reasonable explanation for their behavior.

The player can weasel out of a punishment by deceiving Genka with a lie...but if the player is sent to the guidance counselor too often, Genka will stop believing the player's lies. Japanese schools do not have "detention"; Genka will punish the player by suspending them from school for a period of time that is directly proportional to the severity of their misbehavior.

The school's headmaster delegates most of his administrative duties to Genka, who practically functions as his secretary. Many students and faculty members feel like Genka contributes more to the school than the headmaster does. Genka is widely expected her to become the school's new headmistress once the current headmaster retires.

Genka's mother served also as the school's guidance counselor for 30 years, beginning in the 80s.female

Kyoshi Tachikawa is a retired competitive swimmer. From age 15 to age 31, she competed in the Olympics 4 times, winning a total of 23 gold medals. She became internationally famous after winning 8 gold medals in a single year.

Akademi Academy routinely hires world-famous athletes to coach their sports teams, and recently hired Kyoshi as their latest "celebrity coach". Despite being hired for the sake of publicity, Kyoshi is a very competent coach who is serious about her job.

Kyoshi would always rather be outdoors than indoors, and becomes restless if she has to sit still for a long time. She often gets out of her seat to do stretching exercises or simply stroll around the school grounds.

Despite her numerous accomplishments and worldwide fame, Kyoshi is a humble and friendly woman who is very easy to get along with. However, a few people have observed that she is noticeably awkward around one particular student... female

Yandere Simulator's story takes place during Ayano's 2nd year at Akademi. During the previous year, there were five students at Akademi who were subjected to severe bullying. The school faculty was informed about the bullying, but none of the victims were able to provide concrete evidence that the bullying had been taking place, so the faculty refused to take action. The bullying eventually became so severe that the victims were considering a suicide pact. However, before this could take place, the victims witnessed something extraordinary that saved them from a self-destructive path.

One day, outside of the entrance to the school, the bullied victims witnessed one of their fellow students - Osoro Shidesu - single-handedly fight off a group of violent aggressors from another school. Against all odds, Osoro actually managed to defeat all of her opponents, despite their superior numbers. Instantly, Osoro became an icon to them - a physical embodiment of the idea that a single person can stand against a group of tormentors and prevail. From that day forward, the bullied victims idolized Osoro.

Osoro had demonstrated that violence was a viable solution to their problems, and that a fearsome reputation would keep their enemies away. The five bullied students began imitating Osoro; they started acting gruff, unfriendly, and standoffish, exactly like her. They dyed their hair blonde, just like hers. They styled their hair to give themselves the appearances of rebellious punks, and began carrying long, blunt objects at all times. They began showing up late to class, disrespecting faculty members, and so forth.

Those five boys were originally targeted by bullies because they were the meekest students at school - and now they had become the exact opposite. Needless to say, the bullying stopped...but at a cost. The rest of the students at school began to fear them and avoid them, referring to them as "the delinquents." This was exactly what they wanted;all male

Megami Saikou, the Student Council President, strives for excellence in all things. She settles for nothing less than the best, so has put together a student council comprised of the most elite students in school.

Kuroko Kamenaga was the school's previous student council president. She was defeated by Megami in the most recent student council election. However, Megami acknowledged that Kuroko was the second-best person for the job, and offered her the role of vice president. Kuroko accepted the offer.

While Megami is absent from school, Kuroko is in charge of Megami's presidential duties. In short, Kuroko fills the role of student council president while Megami is gone. Kuroko is known for being formal at all times, which is reflected in the way she stands, walks and speaks.

Akane Toriyasu is the Secretary of the student council. She's known for her gentle and friendly personality, but is also known for being a bit of an airhead - which makes it a mystery why Megami decided to appoint her to the Student Council.

As one of the most beautiful girls in school, Akane has a very large number of male admirers. often, her presence alone is enough to diffuse a troublesome situation. Perhaps this may be part of the reason why Megami decided to include her on the Student Council.

Aoi Ryugoku is the Enforcer of the Student Council. That means her job is to maintain peace throughout the school. She is a very physically imposing person, so it's no mystery why Megami chose her for this position. However, she's been known to take her job a little too seriously.

There are a handful of students at school who hide one of their eyes for some personal reason, but Aoi is currently the only student who is 100% confirmed to actually be missing an eye. As of now, there are only two students at school who know how Aoi lost her eye.

Shiromi Torayoshi is the treasurer of the student council. She's a peculiar young woman whose intentions are never clear.all female

Kencho Saikou Kencho is fully aware that he was conceived with the sole purpose of being a "backup" in case his sister ever dies or abandons her obligations towards her family. This fact was never hidden from him. As a result, his self-identity is based entirely on his relationship to Megami, and his sense of self-worth is derived by comparing himself to her. He is not content to exist as a "backup", and strives to surpass his sister. However, his sister can outperform him in absolutely every way, which has caused him to develop an extreme inferiority complex.

Kencho's father is aware that his son's rivalry towards his daughter is a potential problem, and so Kencho has been forbidden from attempting to interfere with Megami's life in any way. Kencho desires his father's approval more than anything else, and so he has never meddled in Megami's life, not even once. His life's goal is to establish superiority over Megami, and there would be no glory in surpassing her using underhanded methods, so he has resolved to never kill her, harm her, or sabotage her life in any way.

Kencho and Megami do not interact often, but when they do, Kencho is very discouraging and condescending toward his sister in an attempt to mask how she makes him feel. He is aware that his father wanted his firstborn to be a son rather than a daughter; this is his only "advantage" over Megami, and he gloats about it at every chance he gets. His childish behavior rarely has an effect on Megami, but on rare occasions, his words can cut her deep.

Most Saikou family members strive to be as honorable, respectable, and dignified as possible, but Kencho is unlike the rest of his clan. Because he desperately wants to escape his feelings of inferiority and pursue the sensation of superiority, he takes every opportunity to flaunt his wealth and social status over anyone that he considers to be "beneath" him. male

The Bullies," also known as "The Popular Girls" and as "The Gyarus," are a group of 5 girls who hold a high degree of influence over the social standing of other students at Akademi. They all share a similar fashion style which was invented by their leader, Musume, who combined elements of the "gal," "gyaru," and "ganguro" fashion trends. They have been known to ruthlessly bully anyone that they see as "beneath" them. This bullying often goes unreported, because nobody would want to get on the Bullies' bad side and become their new target.

The leader of the Bullies is named Mutsumi Rokuda. She is the daughter of a well-known loan shark, which has earned her the nickname "Musume Ronshaku," which translates to "Daughter Loanshark." Her rich father spoiled her rotten, and as a result, Musume grew up without any reason to treat others with kindness or respect. Gradually, she developed the belief that most people are "beneath" her, and that the "lowest" people are mere playthings for her to torment. Like a child who never learned the difference between right and wrong, she simply lacks the ability to see her victims as people who deserve empathy or compassion. She doesn't deliberately seek out victims, but when she spots one, she will happily seize the opportunity to treat another person like dirt.

Throughout her life, Musume rarely had to face any sort of consequences for her poor behavior. Her father's reputation intimidated most of her teachers and classmates, so most authority figures refused to discipline her, and most kids refused to stand up to her. If she ever did anything seriously bad, her father would make the problem go away using money...or his special brand of intimidation.

Kashiko Murasaki is a mischief-maker and an instigator. She enjoys spreading gossip and rumors so that she can watch the outcome from afar, silently proud of herself for successfully manipulating the actions of others. all girls

Appearance Kokona wears the default school uniform unless customized by the player.

She has fair skin, light purple eyes, and a bust size of 2. Her hair is a light purple color and is styled into twin-drills with right-swept bangs and rounded locks that frame her face. Kokona's hair is a result of making a spiral shape with cardboard, wrapping the hair around the cardboard and using hairspray to lock in the shape.[3] As a member of the Drama Club, she wears a red rose accessory in her hair, purple socks, and as well as a purple friendship bracelet on her right wrist. If the Drama Club is disbanded, she will remove her rose accessory for the rest of the game. If her reputation drops too low, she will remove her bracelet. She previously had purple thigh high socks, and is still shown wearing them in fan interpretations.

In her casual outfit, she wears a lilac pullover sweater with a white collar, a gold heart shaped necklace, a two-tiered lace skirt, white socks, and lilac flats with black piping. She wears this outfit in the "Driving Your Rival To Murder" video. In this outfit, she has looser curls in her hair and the rose and bracelet accessories are removed. She also appears to have pink lipstick. She used to wear this outfit in the town, where she participated in compensated dating, but was replaced with an unknown NPC which re-uses her outfit. Personality Admires Kizana Sunobu, leader of the Drama Club, and joined the club to learn how to be more like her. This annoys Kizana, who doesn't want anyone imitating her unique style. female

Her eyes are light teal. She has fair skin and the second largest bust size in the game, at 1.8. Her hair is teacup teal; it is styled into long twin-tails that reach her elbows. Her bangs are swept to the left. Some shorter pieces of hair hang down the sides of her head and curl inwards towards her face. As a member of the Cooking Club, she wears a lavender kerchief and a matching lavender apron patterned with small hearts. If the Cooking Club is disbanded, Saki will remove her kerchief and apron for the rest of the game.Personality Loves sweets, candy, and desserts. Never gets fat, no matter how much junk food she eats. Kokona Haruka's best friend and closest confidant. Kokona is likely to discuss personal matters with this girl. female

A little mischievous, and known to pull pranks. May be hiding a cruel and sadistic side. female

He has long salmon-pink hair. He has a long bang coming down in the middle of his forehead, covering the space between his eyes. Another strand of hair sweeps to the left on the top of his head. His hair comes down to the side of his head and stops slightly above his ears. His eyes are bright peach.

Personality A frail and sickly boy. Because of his poor health, he can often be found in the school infirmary. Usually oversleeps and arrives at school later than any other student. Sometimes ridiculed for his unusually feminine mannerisms. Known to be extraordinarily clumsy. male

She has long, purple hair with bangs parted to the right. She also has yellow eyes with catlike contact lenses, lavender and red eyeshadow, and hot pink lipstick.
