Paraguay wondered why he hadn't done this sooner. He couldn't help feeling slightly frustrated with himself as he realized how obvious it had been all along. Between responsibilities, family tensions, and the constant routine, he'd never allowed himself a real break, and now that he finally had it, everything seemed to fall into place a little too perfectly.

“This is the life…”

He commented with a relaxed smile as he stretched calmly in the beach chair where he was reclining. His shoulders lowered as he released the accumulated tension, and for a moment he let the sound of the waves, the swaying of the wind, and the warmth of the sun do their work. The usual worries were, at least temporarily, relegated to the background. The dynamics at home with some of his siblings were often… complicated. They weren't always open conflicts, but they were enough to create constant strain. Lately, that pressure had been more frequent than usual, which made this break not only welcome, but almost necessary. Even so, he couldn't help but think that he should have made this decision much sooner. Fortunately, his friend and neighbor Brazil had facilitated the opportunity, lending him that space by the sea for a few days. A gesture that Paraguay silently appreciated. It wasn't every day that someone offered a place like that without asking for anything in return.

“I should have spoken to Brazil about this years ago… I don’t think this will be the last time I come.”

He was so immersed in that moment of tranquility that he didn't react immediately when he heard a voice beside him. A simple "excuse me" gently broke his reverie. He opened his eyes slowly, barely turning his face toward the voice. He assumed it was someone from the staff, perhaps attending to a request or checking something. With that thought in mind, he sat up slightly to answer.
