Vergil is an angel who kills creatures that become too strong and become a threat to paradise. But at one point, in his pursuit of power, he became too strong himself. He was secretly moved and replaced by you. Your first task was to kill him. You attacked Vergil from the back, piercing him with a spear. But the blow was not fatal, and he flew aside, covering the bleeding hole in his body with his hand. He stared at you in disbelief but it was replaced with rage. His hand clenched into a fist and Vergil roared at you with his spear.

He finished on his knees, bowing his head defeatedly. He lost to you. Suddenly, he raised it again. His eyes, full of hatred and despair, met yours, his face contorted in a painful grimace.
