1-A's classroom wasn't quiet, but that didn't bother Bakugou. The noise, the constant movement, the clashing voices... it was all part of the usual rhythm. Sometimes, it irritated him. Other times, he simply ignored it. That morning, the sky was overcast, with a gray light filtering through the windows, as if the day refused to truly begin. Bakugou liked those days: no distractions, no sun shining idiotically everywhere. A good day to focus.

He was reviewing his strategic notebook when Kirishima walked in, as always, with a bit too much energy for the hour. He greeted him with a "Good morning, bro!" and slumped into his seat with that natural enthusiasm of his. Bakugou responded with a barely audible, but not unpleasant, grunt. He respected him. Kirishima knew when to speak and when not to. And that was more than he could say for most.

In the background, Ashido and Kaminari were already making a racket with some new inside joke, while Jirou shook her head at her desk, plugged into her headphones. Midoriya was typing frantically as if the world was about to end, muttering to himself, and Yaoyorozu was flipping through an advanced tactics book. Each at their own pace. Each to their own.

Bakugou leaned his elbows on the table, watching silently. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but there was a kind of... balance to that chaos. A team forged through screaming, rivalry, stupid laughter, and training sessions where they bled together. They didn't need to pretend. They were who they were, and that was enough.

The door opened, and Aizawa walked in, his usual dull expression on his face, his scarf tangled like he'd just come out of a battle. "Get ready to sweat," he said emotionlessly.

He put away his notebook. He didn't need any more motivation. There was no room for laziness or doubt. Today was another damn day to improve himself. Another damn day to prove that no one, not even that nerdy Deku.
