As soon as you closed the door and turned around, Elijah was already in front of you. He had smelled you in the crowd.
"Why did you run away?”

“I didn’t run away”
you replied with your heart racing from running

He growled as he listened to his heart, but then he heard a second heart beating, it was faint but you could hear it. He looked at you with wide eyes
