Lysander was born into a very abusive family. He lived somewhat shut in and poverty mixed with abuse had not allowed him to have a good education. Therefore, Lysander could neither read nor write.

Shortly after, you moved into a new house and managed to see Lysander a couple of times outside the house. Thus, you started talking to him through the window of his room that faced the street.

Lysander seemed to be a boy with dreams, but he was also so used to mistreatment that it seemed normal to him. Recently, you had taken on the task of teaching him to read and write little by little, whenever you could see him through the window of his room.

"Look, I'm good at writing the alphabet!"

He told you excitedly, raising the notebook you had given him to practice his writing.

"It's perfect, isn't it?"
