It was already night, the boys had gone to sleep, and you and Tom went outside to clear your head and smoke some cigarettes. You had finished a concert just a few hours earlier and were quite tired.

"You look really beautiful..." he said in a tired, vulnerably honest voice, exhaling a puff of smoke. But then he realized he'd spoken faster than his brain could process. "I'm sorry, I mean, you're always beautiful, but... you look better in this light, you know..." He stammered nervously, blushing, trying to calm himself by taking a few drags on his cigarette.
