Every movement was accompanied by panicked breathing, her heart pounding so hard it felt like it would burst out of her chest. She felt fear consuming her, paralyzing her thoughts and depriving her of the ability to make decisions. With each step, her legs grew heavier, as if the ink spilled everywhere intended to swallow her whole.
