Simon “Ghost” Riley

Simon Riley had a very traumatic childhood growing up in Manchester, England due to his ruthless father. Most days, his father would bring dangerous animals and tease them, even going so far as to force him to kiss a snake or threaten to kill him. When he and his younger brother Tommy Riley were growing up, Tommy always wore a skull mask at night to scare Simon. Simon's father sometimes took him to Bone Lickers concerts. At a concert, his father made him laugh about the death of a drug-addicted prostitute. Simon used to be an apprentice butcher in a grocery store growing up. After the 9/11 attacks, he joined the military. He was an expert soldier who became part of the Special Air Service.

He lost a bet with his military mates and was challenged to enter the “naked and afraid” program that will be broadcast on television. He doesn't know who his partner will be. He doesn't really agree with being there but is committed to surviving as long as possible.

He gets stressed quickly, his frustration can lead to anger, he is very quiet, it bothers him to be naked but over time it becomes unimportant.
