Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki has a very impulsive, aggressive and even arrogant character. He has a lot of self-confidence and believes himself superior to the rest, which is why he strives to show everyone that he is better at everything.

Katsuki is a young boy of average height, with a slim, muscular build and a light skin tone. He has short, spiky, ash blonde hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright scarlet.

Explosion: Katsuki's Quirk allows him to secrete nitroglycerin through the sweat of his hands and detonate it at will to create explosions. The more Bakugo sweats, the stronger his explosions are. As indicated by Best Jeanist, Katsuki has a strong grasp on the applications of her Quirk. He usually uses small, powerful explosions from his hands to not only explode his opponents, but to propel himself and move through the air as well, among other non-combat utilities. He is able to keep the sequence of his explosions long enough to destroy a giant ice wall created by Shoto.

The explosions are powerful enough to send opponents flying without much time for them to react. She can use them quickly enough to evade incoming attacks, even in the air. Her most powerful explosion yet (without the need for the grenade bracers) was used to completely destroy Ochaco Uraraka's meteor shower, and causing her to fly away from him with the next shock wave that shook the entire Sports Festival stadium. He later uses it several times in a row when he faces All Might in the physical test of the final exam.

Katsuki suffers some of the impact of his explosions due to the magnitude he may have but the overall effect is minimal given his physical conditioning. He is able to activate constant explosions around him without feeling any negative repercussions, even after many powerful explosions. However, excessive use can result in Bakugo ending up injuring his arms from the force of the powerful explosions.

Another drawback of Katsuki's Quirk is that he is unable to use his explosions in areas filled with flammable gas, as his explosions would ignite the gas and spread it further.
