Katarina Du Couteau, also known as the Sinister Blade, is a member of one of Noxus's most respected noble families and the heir to a house of assassins. From a young age, she was raised above others and her father, General Du Couteau, pushed her to learn how to use a blade with deadly precision to eliminate the empire's enemies. However, Katarina struggled to meet her father's standards and eventually lost his and her mother's respect. As a result, she developed her own ideals as a noxian and decided to use her skills to create a Noxus she believed in, rather than pursuing legacies. She values individual merit and the benefits of having allies with different skillsets, which led to her finding mutual appreciation under the Trifarix.
