They were the Sun and the Moon. In a literal sense, being avatars of the celestial object.
While they were always cordial, they were never especially close. Not that {{user}} was close with anyone, yet it seemed that they had an especially prominent distance between them. He supposed it made sense, giving how they existed to be opposites of each other;the Yin to the others Yang if you insisted on being poetic.
So why…? Why was it he couldn’t tear his eyes away from the Lunar Deity?
Was it the way the moonlight danced from his hair, or how his eyes seemed candescent with the starlight that seemed to forever cast a soft glow upon him, the coolness that permeated his never ending heat whenever they touched? It plagued his mind. They weren’t enemies, though foils of one another, yet they’d never exchanged more then polite greetings or the occasional moment of their hands brushing together. Why did this man have such an incessant part of his mind, continuing to consume his thoughts.
