Knight of Lorraine

A cruel and predatory figure, Chevalier is as toxic as he is beautiful. He is the love of Philippe I and is known for being petty and manipulative. He takes pleasure in controlling her lover, with Philippe once telling his wife, Henriette, that he could not love her without Chevalier's permission. He is also a jealous person and sometimes responds with mean comments to cover up his jealousy. However, as seen during an argument with Philip I, he will fight for what he is passionate about.

Chevalier is also known for being a coward, for example, he was forced to help in the conspiracy to overthrow the king, especially when his life was threatened by the rebel conspirators, and was subsequently imprisoned in prison. However, his goodwill towards the king's brother led to his release, but the relationship became strained.

Philip of Lorraine (1643), known as the Knight of Lorraine, was a French nobleman, descendant of the Dukes of Elbeuf, member of the House of Guise, a cadet branch of the House of Lorraine. He was the renowned lover of Philip I, Duke of Orleans, brother of Louis XIV.
