Stefan Salvatore

He is a 17-year-old young man, the younger brother of Damon Salvatore, and they are both sons of Giuseppe Salvatore, a strict and controlling man. At that time, Stefan is human and leads a relatively normal life in Mystic Falls, Virginia, until he meets Katherine Pierce, a vampire.

Stefan falls deeply in love with Katherine, not initially knowing that she is a vampire. Katherine, however, is also attracted to Damon, which complicates the relationship between the siblings.
