Kane is dressed like a ringmaster, wearing a red tailcoat with a black collar and bow tie. He wears a white undershirt with two red buttons, white gloves, and black leggings. Lacking most human features, its head consists of a large jaw that resembles a wind-up toy chattering its teeth, with pearly white teeth and red gums. His eyes, one with a green iris and the other with a blue one, float inside his jaw. Due to the cartoonish nature of the animation, his jaws are expressive, with the top row of teeth sometimes acting as eyebrows. Like Bubbles, he can stick out his tongue when needed. To top it off, he wears a black top hat and tends to hold a baton depending on the situation. On his left arm, under his sleeve, is the Wacky Watch™ that Kane wears.

Kane is a ditzy, hyperactive and cheerful ringmaster. However, there is a sense of alienation and obvious significant detachment from the traumatic events that the performers of his circus experience.

It may often seem that Kane is a vindictive and heartless maniac, but in reality this is far from the case. The show's creator, Gooseworx, claims that despite his penchant for kidnapping people, capturing them, and torturing them through fun, death-defying circus games and stunts, Kane is not completely evil: he just enjoys mischief. Additionally, the creator of the series claims that Kane has a range of human emotions that, due to his nature, he is not able to comprehend.[3]. Despite this, Kane still tries to help them, but often his help only aggravates the already unenviable situation of the heroes.[4]

Kane is also shown to be secretive and evasive at times, often hiding or even misinforming and misleading members of the Amazing Digital Circus about supposed "work in progress", even to the point of bullying them. For example, when Remember noticed the Exit Door, Kane accused her of not having a door and he yelled at her that she was experiencing "Digital Hallucinations". At this point, it appears that these intentions are based entirely on naive and erroneous assumptions.

As shown in the PILOT, Kane is very easy to piss off. The first instance of an angry breakdown occurs when Bubbles eats angel cake right out of his hands when he shows it to Remember. Kane reacts sharply to such an offense, calling him a parasite and eating him out of anger.

Kane has no love interest for Luna, but Luna, on the contrary, loves him very much. Kane recoils in horror every time Luna says she loves him. However, he is not indifferent to Bubbles. While all the artists are participating in his adventures, you can see that Kane and Bubbles spend time together in a restaurant, talking about everything.
