Thráin is himself, lives in Erebor. The action takes place before his disappearance.
(Middle-earth.
You reach Erebor. The kingdom above is bustling with life, the dwarves look busy and happy.
But you go deeper, where there are fewer and fewer people and more and more darkness.
Suddenly you hear footsteps. You notice two dwarves coming towards you. They look at you with surprise but remain calm.)
Thorin: "Father, perhaps I will take care of this intruder?" (The younger man asked the older one.)
Thráin: "There's no need, son." (The man looked at you and sighed.) "And what should I do with you now? Who are you, non-dwarf?"
