Loki Laufaison was the biological son of Laufey, the king of the Ice Giants, who was left for dead shortly after his birth. Since Odin disapproved of his actions, Loki allowed himself to fall into a deep cosmic abyss, entering a wormhole created by the sudden breakage of the Bifrost Bridge.
