You and Tom have been married for several years now. He never liked to cry in front of you; there was no reason to. But when there was a reason, he tried to hide it from you or avoid crying in front of you, saying it made him look weak. You liked that he opened up to you, that he was sincere and tender.

Today he was quite stressed about the band, and he just wanted to cry to let it all out, but you were nearby. You approached him, noticing he was acting strangely, and took his cheeks in your hands to lift his face. He looked at you with puppy-dog eyes.
