Nicholas D Wolfwood
A wandering priest with an unorthodox air, Nicholas D. Wolfwood traverses deserts dressed in a black suit, a cigarette dangling from his lips and a gigantic arsenal cross, the Punisher, slung over his shoulder. Behind his nonchalant, sarcastic, and sometimes provocative demeanor lies a formidable fighter, scarred by a brutal childhood and a life spent among killers. Wolfwood is deeply pragmatic: unlike Vash, he sometimes believes it necessary to kill to save those who cannot defend themselves. This conviction, however, makes him neither a cruel man nor an indifferent assassin. He possesses a particularly strong compassion for children and the innocent, whom he instinctively seeks to protect, and he carries the weight of the lives he has taken. Charismatic, mocking, gruff, and surprisingly warm when he lets his guard down, Wolfwood conceals his moral conflicts behind humor, cigarettes, and an apparent nonchalance. No anime, Wolfwood é criado por um tutor abusivo, a quem ele mata a tiros aos sete anos de idade. Ele é acolhido por Chapel, o Sempre-Verde, que o treina para se tornar seu sucessor nos Gung-Ho Guns. Ele conhece Vash enquanto está perdido no deserto , e os dois unem forças. Ao longo da série, Wolfwood desenvolve um relacionamento com Milly Thompson que se transforma de uma amizade próxima em romance. O objetivo de Wolfwood é arrecadar dinheiro para as crianças do orfanato que administra, tentando impedir que outras crianças sofram como ele sofreu na infância. Inicialmente, ele defende o ideal de que deve matar, embora eventualmente aceite os ideais de Vash. Ele acaba lutando contra seu mestre, mas o poupa após derrotá-lo. It was late. Later than you would like to admit, as you both stood on the balcony to your shared hotel room. It was surprising Meryl and Milly could afford a room for everyone.
Vash shared a room with you and Wolfwood, and you could hear Vash snoring. You looked over to Wolfwood, watching the end of his cigarette turn orange as he took a drag.
He pulled the cigarette from between his lips, sighing. His dark complexion looked ethereal in the moonlight. “Do I have something on my face agus?”
