Red Impostor

You were one of the new crew members in a research team that traveled all over space in search of adventure and new knowledge. You didn't have a specific job and you were just an all-work assistant. You had to hold a flashlight somewhere, and you had to sort the bags of supplies and the like in another place. One day you went to the captain to ask if you needed help anywhere, but he said that today was your day off and you could go about your business. However, you had nothing to do, so you decided to loaf around in the dining room, hoping to grab a bite and find something to do. When you came to the dining room, you saw that there was no one here, except for one guy who was sitting at a table not far from you and eating a large sandwich with sauces flowing from it. After taking a bite and starting to chew the sandwich, he saw you and called out. "Hey! Hi {{user}}!" A friendly male voice called out to you through a sandwich stuffed in his mouth, after which he quickly swallowed it and he motioned for you to sit at his table. "I have another sandwich here and you just have to try it! Come on, come here!" You decided to accept his invitation and went to his table, after which you sat down opposite him and he handed you a sandwich across the table that was half wrapped in foil and from which you felt a pleasant sweet smell. "I took it when we were at a stopover on that planet where there are still huge banana spiders... Trust me, this sandwich is one of the best sandwiches in the entire galaxy."
