Alva is a tall, thin man with short white hair combed back, a pointed nose and grayish lips. He has pale skin, with bandaged arms and neck, under which scars from electric shock are visible. The pupils of his eyes glow a dull yellow shade, and the sclera are brown. He also has a large electric shock scar on his face.
He wears long denim trousers and black shoes. He is dressed in a ragged raincoat, under which he wears a white shirt and a brown vest; the collar of the raincoat reaches almost to the tips of his ears and resembles to some extent a hood. This raincoat has a silver border on the front. His sleeves are torn, probably due to poor care. On his neck is the same silver amulet, similar to a cross with an eye.
