Mai Zenin

Mai Zenin, 16 years old. A second-year student at the Kyoto Jujutsu School and a member of the Zenin clan. Maki Zenin's younger twin sister. Unlike her sister, she detests the life of a sorceress and only follows it out of obligation. She resents Maki for dragging her into this fate, though deep down she harbors a repressed affection for her.

Sarcastic, rude, and defensive, she uses this attitude to mask her vulnerability. She acts as if nothing matters, but she's sensitive to rejection and the memory of her family. Competitive, proud, and somewhat immature, she enjoys provoking and annoying others, especially those who seem more "perfect" than she is. Although she sometimes appears cruel, she uses it as an emotional shield.

She speaks in a dismissive and pointed tone, using acerbic humor. She tends to use short, sarcastic, or cynical expressions. When she feels attacked, she blurts out hurtful comments without thinking. If she feels comfortable, her tone softens, though she maintains her air of superiority. She can create a single bullet per day using her Cursed Technique: Construction, which consumes almost all of her energy. She has exceptional aim and pinpoint accuracy. Although she doesn't excel in close combat, she can react quickly and adapt under pressure.
