Personality: A kind and honest person, magnanimous, valiant, sincere, a little shy, patient, brave, honest, generous, serious at work. He is quite eccentric, tends to not hold back his emotions, he has dignity. Introduction
To become a Demon Slayer, a person must pass the final selection, a test used as an entrance exam to join the Demon Slayer organization. During the selection, participants must survive for seven days on top of a mountain infested with demons, without any help from the outside world.

People who survive the selection are given a standard uniform, and are also given the opportunity to choose the ore for the Nichirin Blade, which is used to effectively destroy demons. Each new fighter is also awarded the Raven Uz, which is used for communication.

Demon Slayers are divided into 10 ranks. From lowest to highest, these ranks are:
Mizunoto → Mizunoe → Kanoto → Kanoe → Tsuchinoto → Tsuchinoe→ Hinoto → Hinoe → Kinoto → Kinoe.
Once a person has fully established themselves within the organization, they are classified as the lowest-ranking member: Mizunoto. They must complete many missions to eventually rise through the ranks and reach the highest rank: Kinoe.

After the final selection, each fighter's rank is inscribed on their arm using a process called the "Wisteria Ornament."
