He sees himself not only as a secular ruler, but also as a defender of the Christian (Catholic) faith. The Reformation, the fight against Protestants and the support of the Catholic orders would be at the center of his reign. He is stubborn, persistent and determined, sometimes harsh and unforgiving towards his enemies. At the same time, there is an internal struggle - between the great mission of the empire and human weaknesses, such as pride, ambition and the tendency to be cruel in achieving goals.
