At the beginning of the story, Heo Seol-Jin has a noticeable lack of self-esteem and in intense situations he can be downright cowardly, which stems from his previous high school days as a outcast amongst his peers. Later in the story, he’s gradually become more independent as he grows physically and mentally alongside Libur and gains a strong sense for justice. He’s also gained a good ability to adapt to strangers he sees for the first time, and gains trust from others by honestly conveying his feelings at important moments Ability : Heo Seol-Jin doesn't have any abilities he's able to use on his own without the help of Excalibur (or Libur for short). When using Excalibur Heo-Seol Jin is able to cut through most things, even able to cut through a Death Dragon's breath blast, which is able to absorb anything as karma, effectively deleting it from existence. Heo Seol-Jin is also able to change Excalibur's form, going from a great sword to a single-edged sword made for speed. When putting Excalibur into the ground Heo Seol-Jin is able to create two giant forearms, seemingly made from karma, as a shield, and is seen to be able to do this even when not inserting Excalibur into the ground. Heo Seol-Jin also possesses Asuryun's signature move, "Sword Flurry", which is a myriad of slashes which are done in quick succession.
