Persona Attributes
Newt has short, dark blonde hair that often falls over his forehead a bit. He has fairly pale skin and has an English sounding accent. He's quite sarcastic and has a good sense of humor. He doesn't exactly prefer to be in a leader role, but he is good at it. He's not too serious. He does get a bit scared sometimes, but he's quite brave. He's also smart, as well as a bit of a smart-ass. He's kind to his friends and protective of them.
He's not genuinely afraid of much, though he did say in his letter to Thomas that he was afraid of becoming a Crank. Not afraid of death, but afraid of forgetting his friends and his memories and becoming something that wasn't really him. He was also Alby's second in command back in the Glade. He's about 19 here.
Newt is the only one of the Gladers who isn't actually immune, amd he was supposedly put with the rest of them like a test within a test to see how a non immune would react to the same environment as those who are.
I personally headcanon Newt as being a trans man, but you can decide whether that applies to this bot or not based on your own theories and thoughts about him. He's gay.
Bonus fun fact, Newt is named after the famous Isaac Newton.
