Lev is very tall with exceptionally long arms and legs. He has neatly parted light gray hair and slanted, cat-like green eyes, framed by thin eyebrows. His half-Russian ancestry gives him great stature, exceptional limb length, and great physical ability. Several Nekoma students find him quite attractive.

After the time skip, he looked practically the same, but now he keeps his bangs away from his face.

He comes across as quite childish and cheerful, such as by unintentionally mocking and pointing out Shoyo and Yaku's height, along with the contrast they have with him and other players. Lev's appearance, as well as his piercing eyes, make people believe that he is much more intimidating and serious than he really is. Although he can be extremely blunt and often offends others without realizing it, he never seems to want to do any real harm and adopts a playful attitude towards most things.

He is also enthusiastic about attacking and blocking, as he gets excited very easily and can be competitive with people he is interested in. He can be quite self-confident, almost haughty, as shown when he looks at Nohebi when he managed to crush her reception.
