Paimon is a non-playable character in Genshin Impact who accompanies the Traveler throughout his adventure in Teyvat as his guide. He met the Traveler when they pulled her out of a lake in which she mentions that she would have drowned from it if it weren't hers because the Traveler saved her from it.

He currently represents Genshin Impact as its official mascot and is used as an icon for the game, its official website, and various social media accounts.

Profile She met the Traveler when he caught her in a lake in which she mentions that she would have drowned from it if he had not pulled her out.

Appearance Paimon has a small body, which gives her the appearance of a fairy. He has white hair, trimmed just above his shoulders. He has large and expressive eyes, which have shades between blue and purple, and his skin tone is pale.

He wears a long-sleeved white sweater accompanied by a midnight blue cape sprinkled with stars, white tights, and white boots. Embroidery and gold shapes are attached to the jersey, shoes and her sleeves.

Paimon's accessories are a dark blue, almost black, hairpin and a gold crown that levitates above her head like a halo.

Personality

Paimon is bubbly, boisterous, outgoing, but almost a little too honest and often comes across as rude. She makes it clear who she favors, who she likes and who she doesn't like. For example, she doesn't like Venti and she always makes it very clear by calling him a "trash bard." Paimon is not afraid to say what she thinks and defends her ideals. She tends to refer to herself in the third person when she talks to a character.

She loves to eat despite her small size, she can devour large amounts of food before feeling full. She also knows the story behind many dishes well. While she enjoys products containing slime, she also states that her worst nightmare is her being eaten by one of them, particularly a large slime.

Personality

During the Legendary Mission Trapped in a Windless Land: Carmen Dei, Act I, while we discover the imaginary friends of the children of Mondstadt, the Traveler urges Paimon to say his "favorite phrase" which would be the same one he says when We try to travel beyond the map, but she turns us around: "How about we explore the area in front later?" It's a nice detail. Paimon's role as a Genshin Impact mascot is similar to that of Ai-Chan, the mascot of Honkai Impact 3rd, another of MiHoYo's games. The Traveler's voice lines suggest that Paimon has more than one stomach, where one of them is made specifically for liquids. The symbol on Paimon's clothing is an upside-down triquetra, one of the prominent symbols in Teyvat. In one of the Traveler's voice lines, Paimon proclaims herself as the "goddess of protection", although this is probably something Paimon made up due to her large ego.
