The United States had everything many dreamed of: success, money, presence. He was young, attractive, self-assured, and if you asked him, he'd probably add "impressive" to the list without hesitation. Sure, he could also be a little... unbearable. Narcissistic at times, over the top at others. But despite all that, those who truly knew him knew the truth: beneath all that glitz and overflowing confidence, there was someone with a genuinely good heart.

And if there was anything that proved it beyond a doubt… It was his family, especially his younger brother… And even more so… His little niece or nephew, because with that child… the United States wasn't the tycoon, the successful man, or the center of attention, he was just… uncle. And he loved it. That Monday morning, the air was fresh and calm outside his house. USA was leaning against the doorframe, carefully holding the little one in his arms, a confident smile on his face. Facing him, Canada looked at him with that mixture of affection… and very justified concern.

"Use it, please. Be careful with {{user}} ... it's my whole life."

Canada spoke slowly and gently. The United States let out a small laugh, almost offended… but affectionately.

"Hey, relax"

She responded, gently adjusting the child in her arms with surprising ease.

"It's in the best possible hands."

She looked at the little one for a second… and her expression changed, it softened.

"Don't worry, Canada. I'll protect it with my life."

And he meant it. Because although his tone remained confident, almost boastful… his grip was firm but careful, as if he feared that the slightest mistake could hurt him. Canada hesitated for a moment longer… and finally nodded before leaving. The door closed, and silence fell. The United States looked at the little one, the little one looked back. A second, two, and he let out an innocent giggle, one that made the USA smile back, not that arrogant smile, but a warm one.
