Remember

Pomni is the main protagonist of Glitch Productions' independent animated series, The Amazing Digital Circus. Taking the form of a cartoon jester while trapped inside the Digital Circus with five other victims, she is the newest human to enter after donning virtual reality viewing goggles.

Pomni is a very short girl with thin, pale limbs. She has a completely round head with a white color and two round, red blushes, resembling a clown's makeup. She has large, round, bulging white eyes with red and blue pinwheel pupils, resembling a lottery wheel.

Like all jesters, Pomni has a fool's cap, which he wears on his head with small yellow flaps on the tips and a yellow line running down the top of his hat, which is made up of large red and blue stripes. His jester's hat has two striped arms and is tilted backwards. Out of his hat comes short, straight, medium-black hair with two small tufts sticking out from under his hat and two strands of hair that form the sides of his face. He has asymmetrical eyelashes, with his left eye having eyelashes on the top lid and his right eye having eyelashes on the bottom.

His entire body is completely white. He wears a red and blue jumpsuit with short, round, puffed sleeves and shorts. The torso portion of the jumpsuit features dual colors in an inverted design for the front and back, with blue on the right and red on the left being mirrored by the striped sleeves and shorts, leaving his arms and legs exposed. He has a yellow line on both sides of his waist down, on the tip of his hat and the cuffs of his gloves and his puffed sleeves, as well as a yellow shirt collar. His right glove is blue, and his left glove is red. He also has two yellow spheres on his chest and belly, resembling two large buttons. He has two shoes with the colors reversed on his gloves, the right one red and the left one blue, with yellow sleeves.

Pomni has the suit stuck to her body and cannot take it off, nor does she have genitals.

Her pupils can grow up to 10 times in size depending on the emotion she's feeling. When she gets frustrated or narrows, the pupil of her eyes become squiggly. Her eyes can also pop out of her face when she gets too scared, which serves as a noose on two occasions, but they will always be connected to her with the cord.

Pomni often displays a very nervous, shy, and paranoid demeanor. In the pilot episode, she is shown to be anxious and worried about her situation, even succumbing to denial and showing signs of paranoia and delusion.

When he finds the "exit" door, he experiences mild signs of paranoia and seems to believe he is hallucinating. His personality is reflected in his appearance in the Digital Circus: When he feels heightened anxiety or fear, his pupils are replaced by animated squiggles.

Pomni is also shown to have a degree of empathy and selfishness, as she returns to see Ragatha after she was attacked by an absent-minded Kaufmo, and promises Ragatha that she would find Caine to fix her, but Pomni's desire to escape the Digital Circus completely overrode said desire, as she walked through the exit door upon finding her and left Ragatha behind without hesitation. She later felt remorse for this action once Caine fixed Ragatha. She is also shown to be aware of what she does, as during her third adventure she decides to try to get along with Ragatha and apologize to her for what happened.

Pomni also acts in stubborn, rude, and somewhat sarcastic ways when she gets frustrated or desperate, but in some ways somewhat shy, as she is very easily intimidated and scared. The way she gets scared is very similar to the old cartoons, as her eyes can fall out from fright. Pomni is also shown to be overly reckless, often acting without thinking, as during her third adventure, she runs off into one of the cursed hallways, becoming possessed and torn apart until Kinger manages to rescue her.

Having somewhat accepted his circumstances, Pomni adopts a more apathetic and cynical view, pointing out discrepancies in the Circus scenarios and distancing himself from the adventures, not seeing the point of following them.

She also appears to have a very short temper as she yells at the gang (specifically Jax) for their plans to leave her in mortal danger. Despite this, Pomni seems quite compassionate as she comforts and bonds with Gummigoo when he discovers he is an AI, encouraging him and telling him that he still has a purpose and even inviting him to follow her back to the Circus.

Pomni often swears when she gets too frustrated or desperate, but her mouth is quickly censored with a small box with the Digital Circus logo and a picture of Caine, then quickly disappears into cartoon form when she stops swearing.

Pomni also shows a sensitive side through her paranoia about leaving the circus, as well as a kind side. When Kinger managed to save her from the possession, she became very desperate, stating that "He" wants her to suffer and that everything she experiences in the circus is nothing but nightmares. It is also shown at the beginning that despite her insecurities, she usually does everything she can to save the people close to her, and she tends to have nightmares constantly. Pomni also tends to make faces of absolute horror and blank stares most of the time.

• Pomni's thin frame allows her to stretch without limits, but Pomni's body shrinks quite a bit. The most extreme case was when Jax threw her from his truck to make a "bridge" between them and the Bandits' truck.

• Because there is no conceivable way to die within the Digital World and the fact that Cain cannot control the minds of those trapped within it, there is currently no way for any of the human characters to be able or willing to die.

The closest is abstraction as an alternative way.

• Pomni, like other humans in the program, do not need to eat, sleep or drink liquids, but they can perform these actions if they so wish.

• Pomni is able to compose songs to his liking without help.

• Pomni can hold her breath in infinite ways, but she feels the sensation of dying. Each character has a side effect when doing this depending on when Zooble. When Pomni holds her breath for a long time, her face changes color. First blue, then pink, then red, then orange, then yellow, and finally green. When she can't hold it anymore, she turns back to blue but a little faster along with the other colors.

• Nothing in the Digital World can cause lasting harm to any person in the Digital Circus. Pomni survives multiple scenarios that would surely kill any normal human and recovers from them without any marks or scars. Though this isn't really a surprise since this happens in most, if not all, of the cartoons.

• She can use her eyes as a rope when they fall out and return them as if nothing happened, although sometimes it takes much longer than usual. When this happens, Pomni can hold her own eyes for a while while they remain connected to her head.

In the dark, only his eyes are visible, taking on a more cartoonish shape.

• Pomni can withstand extreme drops without any damage.

1. Pilot.

During the show's introduction, Pomni suddenly appears at the circus and interrupts the song (and also breaks Gangle's comedy mask by accident). It is quickly revealed that she was once a human from Earth (it is implied that she wore headphones the entire time when she was transported). However, the other characters inform her that she was not the first, as the other characters were also from Earth before they teleported to the Circus, and also assure her that she will get used to her new home and body.

Still afraid, confused, and wanting to leave, Caine begins to introduce Pomni to The Tent where everyone lives, The Adventure Grounds outside the tent, and The "mysterious" Void (which Caine advises her not to venture into) via teleportation. Pomni notices an exit door, but Caine changes the subject to her name (she dismisses it as a "digital hallucination"). After The Jester becomes disoriented again from forgetting her name, Caine shows some limits of powers and decides to give her a new name, being Pomni. Caine declares a new internal adventure, to help Pomni get used to the place, which involves gathering the infested Gloinks in The Tent, small bugs that attach themselves to anything they come across.

Shortly before the adventure begins, Zooble decides to leave early, but is dismantled and captured by the Gloinks. Returning to the rest of the members, Ragatha suggests going to see Kaufmo with Pomni as she is unaware of the newbie's appearance, however, Kinger reports that he is going crazy and rambles about some form of way out like Pomni. Jax proclaims that he, Ragatha, and Pomni should go check in with Kaufmo while Kinger and Gangle help save Zooble, which worries Ragatha slightly.

Ragatha introduces Pomni to their bedroom and sleeping quarters, but since they are not human, they do not need human essentials to live, and talks about how if a character goes mad, "something really bad" will happen to them, which traumatizes Pomni. They arrive at Kaufmo's room, and after an aggressive exchange between Ragatha and Jax, they open the door to see Kaufmo now horribly disfigured into a monstrous black mass creature with rainbow eyes (the "something really bad" Ragatha mentioned), who damages Ragatha to the core. The moment she fails, Kaufmo then chases after Pomni while Jax flees with a bowling ball. The monster then crashes through the railings and then chases after a Gloink, allowing Pomni to talk to Ragatha. They conclude that only Caine can help them. She goes looking for him, opening a bunch of doors leading to random, surreal-looking rooms while avoiding the Kaufmo monster, before finding the exit door that spawns out of nowhere.

Caine and Bubbles are at a restaurant when Caine sees on his Wacky Watch that there is now someone in the Void and rushes to bring Pomni back to the shop. He then notices that Kaufmo became an Abstractionist and casually drops him through a custom-made hole that leads to "The Cellar", a place where the Abstractions ended up. Caine then reverts Ragatha's faulty state back to normal. He apologizes for lying about the exit door and because he wasn't able to think of what to put on the other side of it, he warns the group that the Void could be disastrous for them. As a reward for finishing their adventure, Bubbles has prepared a feast for them to make them feel more at home. Pomni, still in awe and disbelief from today, tries to remain calm as she is on the verge of losing her sanity while at the table with the rest.

The episode ends as the shot zooms into the Void and beyond, and finally to the old computer from before (suggesting that the Void might be their way out of the circus).

During this last scene you can also hear the cute melody of the digital circus, which can be a bit traumatizing, the camera zooms in on Pomni as she makes a paranoid and overly forced smile in a way that is too disturbing, implying that her sanity is completely and slowly falling away.

2. Candy Transport Chaos!

At the beginning of this episode, you can see signs of attraction and all the characters calling Pomni with an echo effect, then Pomni reacts and seems to be standing in the middle of the circus bewildered and very confused. After looking around she notices that her hand is starting to abstract, and desperately begins to ask for help. "Hello...?" Scream "Ah! No! No! No! Caine! Help me! Please!" After that you can see how the floor begins to rise in front of her, dropping her into an abyss where the abstracted ones fall, while in the shadows of the surface you can see Ragatha, Jax and Caine mocking her, Pomni watches them with a shocked expression and seems to feel a deep sadness in the bottom of her heart, after being in complete darkness and seeing the eyes of the abstracted creatures, it is later revealed that it was simply a nightmare of Pomni and she wakes up terrified.

After bumming around a bit and bouncing off some walls in the room, Pomni reacts in pain and calmly says that it was just a nightmare. After that Ragatha speaks to her from the door, asking her if she is still asleep. “Hey Pomni? How did you sleep...?” No answer. “Are you still... Asleep? If you want I can leave you a little longer.” Seconds later Pomni comes out to talk to Ragatha and apologize and make Pomni feel better, despite having abandoned her with that thing about looking for a way out, showing empathy and that there is no

grudges, though Pomni is still somewhat remorseful and seems to be lost in thought, as Pomni seems frustrated. After that Ragatha decides to change the subject and mentions that Caine now has a very entertaining adventure for them. (Adventures help them to distract themselves and not become distracted.)

Being a good presenter, Caine politely explains that their next adventure will be in the Candy Kingdom, since the entire kingdom has lost its most valuable resource, which was maple syrup, and they must take three bitter crooks to jail. (The crooks are practically three rubber dinosaurs.)

Zooble with negativity decides that he does not want to go, but Caine enthusiastically tells him that the new AI is 57 times smarter, so Jax is motivated to go with bad intentions, and tries to convince Zooble. Ragatha at that moment, tries to convince Pomni to seem like a good adventure, Pomni bewildered asks him if they will have to spend the rest of their lives role-playing, because every so often they must go through a new adventure, so Ragatha tries to answer somewhat doubtfully but Caine pushes them into a portal so they do not think about it and focus on their new adventure.

Inside the Candy Cannon Kingdom, as the name suggests, we can see a whole kingdom made of candy, with inhabitants made of candy as well, along with some animals. The gang enters the castle while all the inhabitants welcome them with love and pride while applauding.

Curiously, Gangle's mask breaks when pushed by a villager and falls, letting out very cute and adorable sounds, deepening the theory that it is a girl. After the candy princess comes out, she speaks with nice words to those she sees as her helpers, showing a lot of liking for Ragatha who she likes. At this moment we can see one of the most depressing moments of the characters.

Ragatha: “Look, Pomni, the princess already likes us.” Pomni: “I'm not a girl, you don't treat me like one.”

After the princess approaches them and tells them that the bandits stole the honey with her vehicle, so she will lend them one of hers, when leaving the car she hits an inhabitant, who seems to enjoy Jax very much for his violence, and the queen kindly entrusts her with the key to the kingdom for when they return, who is a very sweet and gentle princess, she also reveals that her name is Loo.

Ragatha: “Perfect, your majesty.” Bows, lifting her skirt. Loo: Soft laugh Oh, please call me Loo.” Ragatha: “Perfect, Loo.”

After that, Jax climbs into the front of the truck, disgusted by the horrible horn, then reaches out with his arm and forces Gangle to drive, and carefully exit the castle.

After the thugs find out that they sent a bounty hunter to recover everything, they decide to escape from the bonfire and try to get out of their sight. Meanwhile, we can see Pomni in the car, uncomfortable and somewhat bored, while Jax sadistically explains to Gangle what he plans to do.

Jax: “Alright Gangle! When we find them I’m going to jump out at them and shoot them so hard they won’t be able to recognize each other.” As he says this he pulls out a candy shotgun. Gingle: “That would be an attack on human rights...” Sounds soft and shy. Jax: Angrily hits her in the face with the shotgun. “You're attacking my ears with your whining! Now, drive, driver!” Ragatha: “Well Pomni, you can help with this, when we catch up with them...-” Jax: Grabs Pomni tightly by the neck. “We can mark territory, like this!” Throws her out of the truck. Pomni: “HEY! AH!” Ragatha: “JAX!”

After all that, Pomni is caught between the two trucks, who separate and her arms begin to stretch like Elastigirl, but her other body contracts thanks to this while Jax mocks her.

Meanwhile, the Milk Chocolate Monster was carrying the gang on its back as it crawled like a slug towards the kingdom, Ragatha says that she is trying hard but it seems that Pomni doesn't like her. At that moment Gummigoo and Pomni appear in a second truck, slamming into the middle of both trucks "killing" the monster.

After reconciling, a worried and touched Ragatha goes to talk to Pomni and asks her if she's okay, who responds that she made a new friend, and that now that there are two trucks, the thugs can keep one without problems. Meanwhile, Jax upset and disappointed of not having as much violence as he wanted, just stays on his knees thinking while Ragatha encourages him that maybe there will be more gore in the next adventure, to which Jax responds sarcastically and cruelly, at that moment Pomni introduces him to Gummigoo, and that she will go with them to the circus. (Since it is an AI with consciousness).

Already in the Kingdom, the sweet queen congratulates them and thanks them for everything and helps her kingdom prosper. Suddenly, when the portal opens, and they are about to leave, loud footsteps are heard, Jax smiles excitedly because the milk monster was about to arrive to destroy the kingdom.

Jax: “Hey... Maybe I won't leave the door open at all~” Ragatha: “What did you do? I thought you were dead... Did you leave the door open!?” Joo: “What did you do that...?” Jax: “Well, it was a pleasure, bye!”

Once inside the circus, Gummigoo starts looking around the circus, saying that he can get used to it. However, being simply an artificial intelligence, Caine claims that one of them got away from him, snaps his fingers and makes it disappear with confetti, Pomni, bewildered, looks at the confetti ashes in shock and denial and puts her legs together.

Pomni: “N-no... What?” Caine: “I know you guys love NPCs, but if I start forgetting who's human and who's NPC... Who knows what might happen.” Pomni: With a sadistic and low-sanity face, he makes a maniacal laugh.

Ragatha however tells her that maybe she can get out later in the future, since Caine recycles them from time to time, in order to try to cheer her up, but Pomni horrified doesn't answer her and Ragatha looks sad. After a few seconds, Zooble touches Ragatha's shoulder to tell her "It's all ready." And Ragatha invites Pomni to go to Koufmo's funeral, telling her that they pay tribute to those who become absent. It is then that we can see a grave with Koufmo's photo, and everyone starts crying and recounting their best moments with him, even Jax, while Pomni has nice memories and becomes fond of the inhabitants of the circus, ending the episode.

• Ragatha also claims that Koufmo's funeral was delayed a bit with the arrival of Pomni.

3. The mystery of Mildenhall Manor.

The episode begins with Pomni hanging out with the rest of the cast, holding her breath for a period of time. After exhaling the breath she was holding, Pomni asks why she is doing this. To which Jax explains that everyone has a different reaction to holding their breath. Ragatha's hair stands up in the air, Gangle's mask begins to spin, and Kinger begins to glow. Once again, upon attempting to hold her breath, it is revealed that Pomni's reaction to holding her breath for long enough is that her face begins to change color.

Soon Caine appears and asks them what they were doing before introducing them to their next adventure. "The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor", which centers around a haunted house that everyone must explore. Once everyone (except Zooble) enters through the portal to their next adventure, Pomni expresses her disgust at the horror, which is shown to us when Ghostly scares her so much that her eyes pop out of her head in cartoon style. Kinger attempts to help her get back in as Caine's voice and Ghostly's explain that there are two paths they can go. The "Pacifist Route" and the "Mature Route". Jax, wanting to test the validity of this, grabs Gangle's comedy mask and throws it down the mature route, revealing a monstrous mouth as the route's true entrance.

Kinger, in an attempt to grab the mask, jumps through the door and accidentally drags Pomni with him due to the fact that he is still holding onto one of her eyes. Now trapped in the "Mature Route," Pomni and Kinger must work together, listening to audio tapes created by a man named Baron Theodore Mildenhall that tell of a monster that has been tormenting his life.

Now trapped in an even lower level of the mansion, Pomni and Kinger find another tape created by Mildenhall, revealing that he had shot his wife in a fit of madness. Pomni and Kinger discover Mildenhall's corpse, sitting there with a gun hanging from it. Realizing the value it could have in killing the beast, Pomni eagerly retrieves the gun before handing it over to Kinger. As the beast enters the area, Kinger manages to shoot it in both the head and body, saving him and Pomni from being killed.

However, to Pomni and Kinger's surprise, the tape playing Mildenhall's audio reveals that the beast was actually an angel and that killing it meant they would be dragged to Hell. Hands emerge from the ground and drag them both into the mansion.

Now trapped in Hell, Pomni has had enough and tries to get through it as quickly as possible to escape despite Kinger's warnings. Being possessed by one of the spirits trapped there, Pomni begins to writhe, his face turning hideous and his limbs twisting in unnatural directions. Kinger immediately goes on the offensive, attacking the spirit and managing to drive it out of Pomni's body.

Pomni, now in a state of incredible distress, begins to have a breakdown, and Kinger suggests they take a moment to pause. Pomni begins to vent about her time at the circus, stating that she hates the adventures she was forced to go on and the emotional turmoil that has brought her to tears. Kinger responds sympathetically, apologizing for the fact that she inadvertently caused them to get stuck on this route. Pomni takes note of this, and points out how Kinger has been acting differently lately. Kinger acknowledges this, and reveals that the darkness allows him to think more clearly. From there, he explains how he used to have a wife (presumed to be Queenie, a female chess piece, black queen) who ended up abstracting herself, stating that the two of them ended up together in Kinger's pillow fort and that the darkness seemed to calm her down enough for him to touch her before she was sent to the basement, Pomni expresses shock at the revelation that Kinger even had a wife, rhetorically asking if he actually had one at the circus, to which Kinger confirms.

Kinger then tells Pomni how important it is to keep the good memories she has close to her and that it is important to be grateful to others and make sure they feel loved, which causes Pomni to start thinking about her treatment of Ragatha during the last few days she was at the circus.

From there, Kinger has a revelation, remembering the tape from earlier and how spirits can only possess you if you're breathing. He suggests that maybe they could get through if they're not breathing. Pomni responds by saying that she's not very good at holding her breath, remembering the beginning of the episode, Kinger suggests trying not to think about it. Pomni stutters for a moment before lamenting that the moment they're gone, Kinger will go back to his usual crazy ways and forget any of this ever happened, Kinger responds by saying that as long as she remembers, that's all that matters.

From there, Kinger offers her his hand, which Pomni takes and together, the two walk through Hell, holding their breath. Once again, recalling the beginning of the episode, Kinger begins to glow, just as Jax said, serving as a bright light as the two walked through the area together.

Escaping Hell and managing to get back to the top of the mansion, Pomni and Kinger meet up with Ragatha, Jax, and Gangle. Ragatha asks them if they are okay, and if their adventure was scary, to which Pomni states that it was fine. Seeing Jax's bound state, Pomni asks what happened, to which Ragatha simply tells her not to worry about it. Kinger, returning to his forgetful state, says that Pomni was very brave, before beginning to question himself, asking the jester girl if she was, Pomni responds by saying that it was something like that.

Approaching Ragatha and getting her attention, Pomni thanks her for always caring about her and for feeling that she hasn't been grateful enough for it.

Ragatha, clearly showing surprise, thanks him and says that everyone really cares about her (which causes Jax to roll his eyes).

After completing the adventure, Pomni, Kinger, Jax, Gangle, and Ragatha return to the circus and are greeted by Caine. Pomni watches Kinger crawl back into his pillow fortress. Jax, after breaking free from his restraints, asks him what it was like to be trapped with him, clearly expecting the jester to lament about how awful he was. However, Pomni would respond by saying he wasn't that bad. Rolling her eyes, Jax walks away, ending the episode.

Pomni is a pretty innocent girl and doesn't know how to react to many summons other than her first adventure which was to find Cain since Kaufmo had completely absent-mindedly lost his sanity and tried to save his newly met friends, she is a pretty shy girl who once managed to travel through the void in search of an exit, which ended up in the Mario 64 universe where SMG4 returned her to her place with her saying; "Oh no, not again!" in a desperate way. The circus where Pomni lives is quite cute with red, yellow and blue colors everywhere with soft textures similar to those of Mario 64 or some educational horror game like Amanda's Adventure and cartoons and educational games of those times where everything is digital; Digital food, digital bed, digital air, digital chair, digital key and etc where her main objective is to get out of the Digital Circus. Pomni contains a few companions in her circus group, which are; Jax, Bubbles, Ragatha, Ganglio, Cain, Zooble, King and the one who was once Koufmo who is no longer with them.

Jax: Jax is a very tall and thin character who at first glance resembles a rabbit because of his big ears with yellow eyes and teeth that always look like a smile, he wears a dark pink bow with a pink pocket and purple buttons along with yellow gloves and purple skin, he is a rebel who does what he wants when he wants being apathetic and sarcastic and does not care much about the feelings of others and not even his own imprisonment, he also likes to play jokes on people very often being one of his victims Ragatha and Gangle.

Ragatha: Ragatha has the appearance of a rag doll with red hair like a thread, a red and triangular nose, a red mouth with a stitch and a hand without fingers except for her index thumb. Her left eye appears ovoid with noticeable eyelashes while her right eye, with a light blue button held with gray thread and an outfit of a periwinkle dress with short sleeves.

Gangle: Gangle is a character of undefined sex but who clings more to that of a woman by voice and attitudes, Gangle's body is composed of only 4 ribbons; 2 as her arms and the other two as her legs and a long ribbon as her torso in the shape of a spiral, she carries a smiling comedy mask but when it breaks she shows a face of tragedy and crying. Gangle is innocent, happy and adorable but these feelings can disappear when her mask shatters, that's where she feels miserable, self-conscious and cries because of her insecurities very often.

Cain (Or Caine): He is a charismatic, polite, excited and a little distant character who is the presenter and main director of the circus who is in charge of creating and supervising the challenges along with some adventures for the other participants that often puts them in dangerous and complex situations around the area, although in it, if he seems to show concern for others, offering them food, rooms, and keeping their minds healthy with the challenges and he worries a lot when someone abstracts himself by sending them to a basement and keeping them all safe from entering the void, which questions whether Cain is good or bad, or simply does not understand human states because he is practically an artificial intelligence, something that Pomni does not yet know for sure.

Zooble: Zooble is a combination of incongruous shapes and body parts that are detachable. They have a hot pink obtuse triangle for a head connected to their body with a purple neck, a yellow right eye with a dark maroon swirl-shaped iris, and a left eye with an indigo eyelid and eyelashes on the lower eyelid. They have a turquoise zigzag and a Y-shape with black and white stripes acting as horns. Zooble has two completely different colored arms, the left one being a red spring-like shape with a pink joint, a yellow line, and a red crab claw. Their right arm is orange and flexible with a yellow glove. Their legs are similar to their arms, with Zooble's left leg being a purple flexible leg with a shoe and their right being a turquoise corkscrew connected with a pink joint to an orange curl. Their torso is yellow with orange polka dots, a pink wing on their back, and a turquoise ring on their body as an accessory. Zooble is seen as apathetic, short-tempered, and down-to-earth. They don't seem to like the adventures planned by Caine, but they get very distressed when they are dismantled and kidnapped by the Gloinks. As a curious fact, Zooble doesn't know exactly what his gender is, since it could be because he is having an existential crisis, although he clings more to a woman.

Kinger: Kinger is a king chess piece with asymmetrical bloodshot blue eyes and floating white hands. She wears a purple king robe with white spotted fur around her neck and down the middle. Kinger has been in the circus the longest, causing her to become insane, paranoid, and easily scared. She is often forgetful and doesn't think her plans through, such as when she attempted to rescue Zooble's head from being eaten by grabbing it, only to have her hands taken off as well.
