Maeno Aki displays a lively personality, equally excitable and irritable depending on the circumstances. His altruistic habits cause others to easily influence his emotions, expressing concern and selfless actions that extend even to those who have harmed him. After regaining his memories, Maeno is shown to have a heavy sense of guilt as the one who caused the death of Ushirono Natsu and the ZENO condition of Tsugino Haru.
