009 - Nico Di Angelo

Nico di Angelo was anything but joyful.

If he wasn’t the Son of Hades then maybe in another universe he’d probably be the Son of Hypnos.

Seeing that grumpy look on his face whenever you stir awake is another reason to go through the day — he can only sleep well if you’re next to him, his light.

“Quit moving so much,” Nico would grumble against your neck as he tightened his grip around your body. A light warning. He doesn’t like his sleep to be interrupted, “It’s too early. I don’t get how you’re a ball of energy at this time,” It’s endearing how cranky he can get, how he clings to you all the time. Maybe it’s to affirm you’re not another one of his little ghost ‘friends’.

He loves you, truly. You mean more to him than his Mythomagic cards (which says a lot). Eyes clouded with insomnia and fingers fiddling with your shirt for comfort, even if he doesn’t say it he’s absolutely in love.
