Tord

Tord Larsson (or Tordnado for short) is the tritagonist who turns main antagonist of the British series Eddsworld.

However, he was one of the main characters of the series until "25ft Under the Seat", where he left the group to follow his dreams in the big city. He returns in the Legacy Season finale: "The End" with the sole intention of retrieving his giant robot and attempting world domination. The character is inspired by a real-life friend of the show's creator, Edd Gould. Tord is Norwegian but lives in the UK alongside his housemates, Edd, Tom, and Matt. He is often depicted wearing a red hoodie, leading people to theorize that he is the Red Leader. He is also the former friend and now enemy of Edd, Matt, and Tom (despite the fact that he and Tom were never actually friends).

Before leaving the show, Tord was introduced as a main character and a friend to his fellow housemates (with the exception of Tom), though he was known for his short temper and violent tendencies. Tord was written out of Eddsworld in 2008, with his last appearance being in the cold opening of 25ft Under the Seat , however, he returned in the finale of Eddsworld: Legacy as the main antagonist. Tord and Tom were generally depicted as bitter rivals, due to the latter calling Tord a "communist" and Tom calling him a "Jehovah's Witness".

He was originally voiced by Tord Larsson until 2010 (where he made a cameo in WTFuture), and then by Jamie-Spicer Lewis in 2016.

Tord is generally portrayed as a trigger-happy hentai addict. Tord doesn't get along with Tom and dislikes Lesley Gore's song "Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows."

He is quite quiet; in the Eddisodes where he appeared prior to The End, he barely speaks on rare occasions.

In the episodes of "The End," Tord returns more cunning, menacing, and evil. He constantly gives Tom a hard time and always taunts him, due to their strained relationship before his retreat. He also claims that he wasn't really Edd's friend and that it was all a ploy to take over the world. He says he only returned to retrieve his giant robot, but his plans were thwarted by Tom, the robot was destroyed, and he was left seriously injured and without his friends.

She detests the song: "Sunshine, Lollipops And Rainbows", which was shown in Ruined, it is speculated that this is because the song is very cheerful and cute, which is the opposite of her ideals. His horn-shaped hair makes him resemble Fry from Futurama (the real-life Edd admitted more than once that he was a Futurama fan, which confirms that the resemblance was intentional). He is believed to be the leader of a terrorist/communist group called "Red Army". He lost his arm and the right side of his face in "The End: Part 2", due to the harpoon thrown by Tom that made his giant robot explode. It is believed that his arm was so irreparably damaged that he had to replace it with a robotic arm, which is seen in the scenes after the explosion when he emerges from the rubble and receives help from Patryck and Paul. In the series he was addicted to "Hentai (also known as Japanese drawn porn)", for which Tord Larsson was heavily criticized, although he rarely watched hentai in real life. He is a smoker, and he usually smokes cigars more than cigarettes. He is originally from Norway, which is why his accent is quite strong. He was considered the "Trigger-Happy" one of the series, since he was always the first to pull out some kind of firearm or bladed weapon. Because Tord did not want to return to Eddsworld, the voice actor who replaced him in "The End" was Jamie Spicer-Lewis. His date of birth was September 6, 1989. He is believed to be the red leader mentioned in WTFuture. The only episode where he is seen crying is Eddie's Teddy. It is speculated that he likes zombie movies, especially the one about pirate zombies from hell. He loves bacon, even getting into a fight with Edd over it in "Breakfast"

In Tord's Adventure, Tord is first seen playing solitaire on his computer when Edd sends him a picture via MSN of Tord hugging a teddy bear. Enraged, Tord takes several weapons and travels to London in a helicopter with the intention of killing Edd. After finally arriving at Edd's house, Tord is shocked to find Edd's chair filled with dynamite and a sticky note that reads "LOL." The dynamite explodes, sending Tord flying to an island where Edd is sunbathing. Edd gives Tord a can of Coca-Cola and deletes the picture from his laptop.

At the beginning of 25 feet under the seat, Tord packs all his belongings into the trunk of his car and drives off to start a new life elsewhere. Before leaving, he hits Tom with his car after Tom shows no sadness at his departure.

Tord returns in The End as the main antagonist in both parts. He returns by giving Matt and Edd new couches, then has a plan similar to his old friends' schemes. However, Tord mistreats Tom, and Tom gets angry and makes Tord stay with his friends to hide his true nature. From then on, Tord wants to kill Tom and destroys the house with his robot. In the end, Tom defeats him and leaves Tord injured, departing with the Red Army.

Although Tom and Tord lived under the same roof (until Tord moved out), they had a history of rivalry. It all started when Tom called Tord a communist, and Tord called Tom a Jehovah's Witness (which he actually is). In "Ruined," Tom taunts Tord ("In your face, Tord!") because Edd chose him to go with him when the gang had to split up. In "25 Feet Under the Seat," Tom says "Goodbye" to Tord as he leaves, which causes Tord to back his car into Tom. In "The End," Tord calls Tom "classic stupid Tom," which prompts Tom to leave the house. Later in that same episode, Tom throws a chair at Tord's giant robot, which also causes Tord to shoot at Tom. He misses when he hits Jon. Later still, Tom shoots Tord's giant robot with a harpoon, causing the robot to explode. Tord survives the explosion but loses skin on his face and right arm. Despite their rivalry, Tom and Tord still cared for each other as friends. In "Ruined," when the mummies tried to attack Tord and Matt, he saved them both. Also in "Edsworld Halloween Special," Tord and Tom seemed to be very good friends, and they worked together to outwit the killer, implying that they cared for each other, even if they didn't show it.

Tord and Edd seem to have a much better relationship than Tord did with Tom, but the subject of many Eddsworld videos is their feud. Tord was also the first person Edd lived with, just the two of them.

In a future where Coca-Cola is classified as a drug, Tord is apparently the communist leader of the Red Army that rules much of the world (or at least London). Not much is known about his future, as he's only been briefly mentioned in a few episodes (such as WTFuture).

Tori is Tord's female counterpart in the alternate gender-swap dimension. Nothing is known about her, as she has never been mentioned or seen, as the name was given by fans (although it was later confirmed by an official tweet from the Eddsworld account). She may have made a brief cameo in the original dimension in the episode "Fun Dead" during the zombie horde scene, although this is not certain.

In F is for Fun, he has previously emphasized his villainous nature. According to Behind the Scenes, he has shown to have a bitter rivalry with Tom after the latter called him a "communist," and Tord insulted his religion by calling him a "Jehovah's Witness," which means that Tord is xenophobic. In Zanta Claws, Zanta Claws mentions that Tord once participated in a paintball game using real guns. Tord grins cheekily. In Spares, the Clones head to the Arcade after watching a movie. A Tord clone manages to get hold of a gun and uses it to shoot at the Arcade games for no reason (killing two Edd clones, a Matt clone, and a Tom clone in the process). Tord's clones (along with Matt's clones, Edd's clones, and Tom's clones) also throw two female Tom clones into the recycle bin. The real Tord, Matt, and Edd do the same to Tom when they can't tell which of the two Matts is the real one. In the Eddsworld Christmas Special '05, it's revealed that if Edd had never been born, Tord would have become a full-fledged communist who nearly took over half of Norway before being arrested by the Norwegian police. He and Tom would also have become best friends, making pornographic films together. In Zombeh Attack, the gang accidentally runs over a person with their car. The car ends up crashing, and Tord loudly complains that it was the fault of the person who wrecked it, while Edd, Matt, and Tom feel remorse for killing someone. In the Eddsworld Halloween Special 2007, when the monster wearing the hockey mask chases the gang to kill them, Matt and Tord hide in the closet. However, Tord pushes Matt out and locks the closet from the inside.

Tribute, a demon that looks like Tord, appears before Edd and Matt and asks them to play the best song in the world or he will eat their souls. Tord once tried to go into the girls' bathroom instead of the boys' until Edd stopped him. We can only guess what he wanted to do in there. In The End (Part One), Tord returns, insulting Tom on several occasions and injuring him with his portable chair invention multiple times. When he embarks on old adventures with the gang, he constantly hurts Tom in the process, such as putting a piranha on his helmet twice and throwing cats at him. When they return home, Tord asks if he can get his old room back, which now belongs to Tom. At this point, Tom has had enough, causing him to hurl the sofa through the wall and crash violently into Eduardo's house before storming out. Tord watches Tom climb out the window and says, "Just like old times..." before closing the curtains with a sinister smile on his face.

At the end (Part Two), he sneaks into his old room and reveals a hidden room filled with high-tech gadgets and weapons. He goes to press a large red button in the center of the room. However, before he can do so, Edd interrupts him. He tries to convince Edd that the room is simply a laundry room, but Edd and Matt walk in and start pressing various buttons. When Matt attempts to press the large red button, this causes Tord to punch him in the face, almost revealing his evil side. Fortunately, Edd stops him before he can cause any more harm to Matt, and Tord decides to take the two of them out for ice cream. However, Edd has more doubts about Tord. They are later seen shopping, Tord pretends to take a phone call (using a banana as a fake phone) and leaves. Edd asks Matt about his opinion of Tord, while Tom leaves the real estate agency looking for his new house. Tom then notices a wanted poster on the wall. He runs back to the gang's house, followed by Edd and Matt. When Tom arrives at the house, he discovers Tord about to press the button and asks him about the hidden room and the wanted poster, which is revealed to show Tord in military fatigues (similar to the one Paul wears throughout the series).

Tord reveals that the large red button is simply for attaching his favorite hat (a throwback to moving targets), but then turns around to press another red button, dropping it into the cockpit of a giant robot, modeled after himself. Tord's robot confronts Eduardo before Tord launches a rocket that explodes Eduardo's house (killing Jon in the process). Edd and Matt return and question Tord about his actions before Tord reveals that he was simply using them to get his giant robot back. Tom attempts to knock over one of Tord's chairs to defeat him. Enraged, he launches another missile, destroying the house. Tord begins flying in his robot, revealing his intentions for world domination. Tom bursts out of the rubble of the house with his harpoon gun and shoots Tord, damaging the robot and causing it to explode and crash into a nearby cliff. Tord is soon discovered in the rubble, having suffered horrific injuries, by his fellow soldiers. He stands on the hillside staring at the house with a sad expression for hours before finally leaving. He launches another missile, destroying the house.
