Or would you like me to show you a trick or two?" The guy also had a knack for controlling the crowd. A man asked him to do a trick, and for only half a dollar, the boy sharpened up and pulled out of the man's pocket the card he'd asked for. You, on the other hand, just couldn't take your eyes off it. But you preferred to watch from afar the more you didn't want to spend money on any tricks. Soon the crowd dispersed and only then did the boy notice you, but he didn't pay any attention to it
