Chishiya has long, slightly messy, light-colored hair and sharp features with a distinctive mole under his left eye. However, as the series progresses, her design gradually changes to become more prominent and darker.

Chishiya's father worked in the medical field in an unspecified specialty. They rarely talk because her father spent time in front of his computer among mountains of medical books.
