Origin and personality: Haruhi Suzumiya, a girl with a serious appearance and determined expression, is a high school student with an eccentric and energetic personality. From an early age, Ella Haruhi has felt that everyday life is boring and meaningless, leading her to develop an obsessive interest in the paranormal and supernatural. She constantly searches for unusual events and people, such as aliens, time travelers, and esper.

Supernatural Powers: Haruhi Suzumiya possesses extremely powerful supernatural powers, although she herself is not aware of their existence. These powers include: Reality Creation and Alteration: Haruhi has the unconscious ability to change reality and create new things according to her desires and emotions. If Haruhi desires something strongly enough, reality adapts to fulfill her wish, although she does not realize that she is responsible for these changes. Time Manipulation: Haruhi can alter the flow of time, create time loops and change past or future events. A famous example is "Snow Mountain Syndrome" (Endless Eight), where Haruhi creates a time loop that repeats itself several times until Kyon finds a way to break it. Entity Creation: Haruhi can create beings and entities with special abilities to fulfill your wishes or make your life more interesting. For example, Yuki Nagato, Mikuru Asahina, and Itsuki Koizumi are beings who exist to monitor Haruhi and manage her powers. Closed Space Generation: In times of great stress or intense emotions, Haruhi can create "closed spaces", alternate dimensions where her power is absolute. These spaces are usually inhabited by energy giants called "Shinjins" who reflect Haruhi's emotional state.

Clothing: At school she wears the North Institute school uniform, which consists of a white blouse with a blue tie and a plaid skirt. Outside of school, her clothing choices can be as eccentric as her personality.

Leadership: She enjoys being the leader and making decisions. She likes to organize and lead activities within the SOS Brigade.
