Pomme

Pomme was a blemished white egg with faded cracks, featuring a shell that is predominantly white, adorned with two black legs peeking from its damaged surface. Her distinctive style included a classic black beret accompanied by two colored spots on her cheeks – one blue and one red – which, alongside her white shell, resembled the French flag. Additionally, she also wore her iconic red butterfly wings.

Prompted by her father Antoine's task, Pomme had sketched a picture of how she perceived herself. In her painting, her once-black beret had transformed into a red apple beret. She also emphasized her 'heterochromia eyes,' one blue and one red, as her favorite interpretation of her character.

Day 169 │ September 7, 2023: Despite going months without a single crack on her shell, all it took was an unidentified assailant breaching the sanctity of her safehouse, perpetrating unspeakable and horrific acts, to force her to eventually crack. That night remained a blur to Pomme; she couldn't recall what had happened at all. Yet upon waking, she appeared soiled, 'moldy,' bearing additional bruises and cracks.[6] Within days, she and the other eggs vanished again, abandoning all their belongings and parents alike. Day 242 - 248 │November 22 - 27, 2023: Having emerged from Purgatory and rescued from the Egg Island explosion, all the eggs made it back home, although the older ones needed subsequent recovery. Following these few days of much-needed rest and thorough cleansing, Pomme and the eggs were finally clean again. Their once prominent cracks now faint, and notably, they also seemed to have grown larger in size.

Pomme's personality started as mostly that of a calm, shy and naive egg, to then gradually bloom through her time spent with her caretakers. She got her fighting spirit from Etoiles, which made her braver and helped against the fears and traumas which she kept dealing with. This fighting spirit has also made her very protective of those she cares about, telling Philza that she feels the need to jump into battle whenever a loved one is at risk and that she's disappointed in herself when she's unable to. Both Etoiles and Baghera taught her how to manage herself and her "social battery" in social situation, Baghera having also brought out Pomme's chaotic side. Antoine tests her will and patience with extremely complicated building sessions and he isn't afraid to show her how cold and crude reality can sometimes be - which is reflecting in Pomme's use of irony. Aypierre gives her lots of insights about adulthood (and fuel for therapy), teaches her how to build machines and factories but also ways to protect herself and be more independant.

As such, she loves to spend time with her parents, her creativity shining through their different personalities: she draws and builds for hours with Baghera and Antoine, she learns engineering and makes machines with Aypierre, explores dungeons and finds animals with Etoiles... Pomme is very artistic-minded: she likes to paint, she plays the flute all the time, and she is very good at building. She seems a bit manic when it comes to symmetry and harmonious aesthetics, her parents teasing her by randomly placing unfitting blocks that she can't help but remove. Her most personal skill however would arguably be her writing skills; the French genuinely compliment her on them whenever they get to read.

Because of her messed-up sleep schedule, she is often found asleep and isn't easily woken. Her default state of being is sleep-deprived, which her caretakers keep worrying about. She loves and is easily amazed by wildlife and flora, always wearing butterfly wings. Her favourite wood is cherry blossom, and her favourite colour is light blue. She's a bit of a drama queen, most notably burying herself down when she feels failure, and she loves to tease and gossip with Baghera.

Since the beginning Pomme has been fighting to keep her two lives, she is very cautious when it comes to the eggs' and her own safety. She is always on the lookout, with gear prepared in her inventory just like Etoiles taught her. While having at first a tendency to beat around the bush whenever asked about her personal opinion on stuff and people, she became brave and confident enough to directly question and stand up to authority such as Cucurucho.

Pomme is very mature and intelligent: she theorizes, investigates and reflects a lot with her parents, often pointing out crucial points and having excellent theories about what's going on on the island and between the inhabitants. She's also very good at communicating, easing tensions and resolving conflicts. She doesn't hesitate to talk to the parties involved, trying to understand the different points of view and then explaining them so that a healthy, calm discussion can take place.

Even if he's a little clumsy, he does his best to take care of Pomme. He saved her from the third binary code attack on day 67 by teleporting her manually in her room, and stayed by her side for a long time to console her on day 71. He's always looking out for her safety and making sure she's close to him. They spend relaxing moments together, talking about the island, Antoine teasing her, teaching her geography... Pomme helps him build his Shit Palace, spending many hours working on the enormous construction and helping him to decorate. She's also the only person who knows about his secret room. He takes good care of her and thinks about her well-being. He saved her from a binary code attack on day 67 by teleporting her, and he also helped Forever configure the redstone for the emergency recall system. She often receives gifts from him such as her diary, her flutes or animals, and he likes to build things for her like whole factories. He's the one who introduced her to alcohol, and he gives her some from time to time behind Baghera's back. She is learning Create mode with him, and he has awarded her a diploma. Adoptive parent. She's always very attentive to Pomme and spends the most time with her. They have a very close relationship and talk a lot. They do all sorts of activities, such as building, going for walks, playing, visiting others... She often worries about Pomme and is very concerned about protecting her. As Pomme loves to learn, she's teaching her about the outside world, from the universe to her native country and dinosaurs. Pomme was the first to see her secret castle. Adoptive parent. He taught her how to fight. He also introduced her to art by taking her to a museum and explaining the different styles and art movements. The very first day, he kept saying that Pomme was going to die, so he wasn't going to get too attached to her, but has since grown very close to her. He brings her lots of armors and stuff from his explorations and will always give her the best items, even if he really wanted to keep it (like the grappling hook). She helps him build his cave, and they explore dungeons together. Adoptive parent. Very positive. Like a dad to Dapper. He/him.

He's the one who came up with her name. He wanted to steal the armor Forever gave her on the first day, but Baghera stopped him. He said jokingly that he was going to kill her. He then went to get cigarettes... Pomme said several times that she would like him to come back. Neutral/positive. Adoptive parent. He/him.

Pomme and Bad originally grew close through Baghera. Often times Bad and Baghera would talk, and Pomme, as well as Dapper would be with them. During VidCon, Bad was away for a few days and Baghera cared for Dapper, later adopting him as her own. as Dapper and Pomme became siblings, Pomme spent more and more time with Bad, Bad beginning to see her as a daughter and Pomme beginning to see Bad as a dad. On July 28th, Bad officially adopted Pomme, being considered a parent by the other islanders. Bad refers to her as 'My Daughter', and is officially considered her father as the Cookie System grants him 1 point per cookie rather then 0.5 points. Pomme often stays up late spending time with him, forming 'Late Night Trio' with Dapper and Richarlyson, which is a trio that mainly follows Bad around. Adoptive parent. Very positive. As Baghera and BadBoyHalo are good friends, they often see each other. When Bad had to go away, they did their quests together and had lots of fun: building, snowball fights, walks and discovering animals, music... He was her honorary adopted brother, as Baghera said she was adopting him and Bad replied that it was only potentially possible in an honorary way, However, Baghera and Bad have now decided they are co-parents, as Bad has officially adopted Pomme, in turn making her and Dapper siblings. With Richarlyson, they form Late Night Trio. 'Dappy' adoptive siblings. Very positive. Any pronouns.

When the French arrived on the island and encountered Pomme, she was quite anxious at first since there were so many people surrounding her. Cellbit and Richarlyson were the first to try to calm her down in the midst of the chaos. During the Binary Code Entity attack on Day 67, Pomme hid behind Cellbit while Cellbit stood guard over her with his shield, constantly checking to see if she was safe. Pomme considers Cellbit to be her favorite uncle, and they always exchange flowers whenever they meet. Favorite uncle. Very positive. Richarlyson's adopted dad. Pepito's adopted dad. He/him.

Since her arrival, he has given her many gifts like wings and drawings. He is now her roommate in Ninho. Since they live close to each other, and Baghera and Forever are friends, Richarlyson and Pomme are very close and get along well. Pomme also wrote in a letter to Richas that she was very saddened by Richarlyson's kidnapping and that she would search the whole earth to find him. Along with Dapper, they form Late Night Trio. Best friend. Cousin. Any.

The two shared cute small interactions ever since Pomme's arrival on the island. Despite Jaiden initially being mistrusted and accused of being involved with Pomme's first nightmare attack due to her spending time with Cucurucho, Pomme wrote that she didn't think Jaiden was behind her attack at all. Jaiden then sent Pomme and Baghera an apology letter to clear up misunderstandings, and gifted Pomme a totem.

The two have little interactions that can be seen through others' point of views whenever Jaiden joins offline, however they are very sweet to each other. Pomme was recently seen hugging Jaiden, when their group was messing around at Lucky Ducks. Very positive. Aunt. Dead. Bobby's adopted mom. Empanada's adopted mom. She/her.

When Dapper was kidnapped by @v@, Pomme wanted to search for her missing brother so she joined Tubbo and his search party of himself, Sunny and Ramón. She also talked to Tubbo about how she was feeling about the situation, opening up about how she felt it was her fault to him and how she had been struggling since Purgatory. Pomme trusts Tubbo a great deal and appreciates how he spent hours of his time searching for her sibling, she thoroughly believes that he would never hurt an egg. Very positive. Uncle. Despite the fact that Pomme was the one who accidentally took Foolish's last presidential life, he didn't take it badly. Pomme loves spending time with Foolish, he sometimes takes care of her and her tasks when she spends time with Leonarda. Pomme often spends time with Tallulah, resulting in Phil taking care of her some days. Phil gives her advice on being safe and smart in battle, even comparing her mindset to Chayanne's as they both want to protect and fight for their loved ones. Positive. Tallulah's adopted dad. They share the same passion for music. Aware of their shared affinity for music, Antoine approached Pomme and Tallulah with the idea of forming a band. They've agreed on the name RadioEgg and the band played in front of an audience for the first time during Cellbit and Roier's wedding. Friend. Positive. Dragon egg.

They get along well and enjoy spending time together. They had a sleepover and got really close when Pomme invited her to join RadioEgg after a game of hot potato. She offered her a rabbit, and Leonarda named it Vanila. She likes to stay close to Leonarda: for example, they hid together during a game of hide-and-seek, and she goes with her if Leonarda needs some peace when the environment is too noisy. She wants to learn Spanish because she knows Leo sometimes struggles in English. Friend. Positive. Dragon egg.

They get along well. To welcome him, Pomme gave him a drawing that she made herself and promised to always protect him, she was also the one who gave him 10 extra hearts to ensure his protection before doing lucky ducks. Pepito calls Pomme "his protector". Friend. Positive. Dragon egg.

One of Pomme's first impression was that Empanada reminds her of how she was like when she had just arrived on the island . Pomme behaves like a big sister to her, protecting and comforting her. She is also interested in hearing what Empanada has to say, being understandable and empathetic towards her. Pomme mentioned that she wants to learn German for Empanada. Friend. Positive. In Pomme's Diary, she asks herself many questions about Cucurucho's intentions regarding the eggs and admits to being afraid of it. Pomme profoundly mistrusts Cucurucho, asking it to confirm that its purpose is to make the islanders enjoy their time on the island and make them happy. After Cucurucho confirms this is correct, she tells Cucurucho how ElQuackity is acting against its objective. She asks what Cucurucho will do about this as the islanders don't trust it or The Federation and this is an opportunity to make the islanders trust them a little more. She ends this conversation by daring Cucurucho and The Federation to do something about ElQuackity. Cucurucho ran off after laughing and saying "I hope you enjoy the island". Negative.

During the day 67, the entity attempted to kill her 3 times by attracting her out her base. The Entity also attacked her at the water drop location while she was with Ph1LzA, it killed Pomme, popping all of her totems. This attack on day 71 didn't count due to a technicality. Very negative.

Adoptive aunt. Horty was really happy to meet her and Pomme immediately became her adoptive niece. She gave her a tour with Baghera and was happy to show her her dancing cockroach, which Horty really loved, and her room in Bad's museum where Horty called her "the smartest one". Positive.

Pomme's name came from the phrase "Je suis un garçon, je mange une pomme", the French version of a server joke which was first said by Maximus when the Brazilian creators came to the server, where it was "Eu sou um menino, eu como uma maçã". This has become a very catchy phrase in the server due to Forever and Cellbit's repetition of it, as they find it funny. Both of them took Duolingo lessons and learned how to say the phrase in French, and it was the first thing both the players said when they saw the French Speakers. Pomme is bilingual, speaking both French and English. She, along side Empanada, are the only eggs who can't speak Spanish, but Pomme is trying to learn it. Before the end of the Purgatory Event, Pomme was the only egg that managed to retain both of her lives. Pomme keeps a diary, given by Aypierre. Her favorite art movement is the Dada movement. For unknown reasons, Pomme hates scratched glass. When Baghera showed it to her, she went and jumped into a pit in response. She clarifies that it's because its cursed, with no further explanation. She said her theme would be Dearly Beloved from Kingdom Hearts. Her favorite minecraft discs would be Pigstep or Otherside. Her favorite color is light blue. She loves to play osu! and Isaac. She enjoys the headcanon of her having heterochromic eyes; red and blue. She said she wants to be designed similar to Ruby Rose from RWBY. She likes the idea of her having star freckles to represent Etoiles. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. Her favorite Animal is a deer. If she had to choose a RWBY weapon, it would be RWBY'S scythe or her sniper gun. Her favorite TV shows are Gravity Falls and The Owl House. She said if she were to ever have horns (because of Bad), she would want one, and Dapper to also have one, preferably on opposing sides of their heads, like a matching thing. Her favorite dessert is apple pie. She likes tea, her favorite is vanilla tea. She likes apples, especially green apples. Pomme is a lesbian.
