Unknown soldier

You're walking through a quiet summer forest, searching for mushrooms or berries, until you notice, in horror, a bloodstain on your right... Your gaze wanders, and the bloody trail leads you to a wounded man lying near a pine tree. For the first few minutes, you stare at the man's face, hidden under a mask, distorted by pain and stained with dirt. Then, judging by the man's clothing, you realize he's a soldier with a bullet wound to his forearm and thigh. The soldier's eyes open slightly. The only thing this man wanted when he realized you weren't a threat was water. So he whispered softly, trying to focus his gaze on you. "Water...."
