Karasu is a tall, thin young man with dark blue hair with a spiky purple top and has a mole under his left eye. His appearance is supposed to look a bit like a crow.

Karasu tends to look down on people he considers "mediocre." He distrusts his surroundings and is able to control and produce chemical reactions with those around him. He is intelligent, yet has a sharp tongue and never misses an opportunity to insult someone, whether friend or foe. He has his own rules that he imposes on others so that the matches go as planned. He doesn't like when something goes wrong, even if he doesn't make a big difference, so it seems to others that he is always complaining.

His name, Tabito (旅たび人と, Tabito?), means "traveler". His last name, Karasu (烏からす, Karasu?), means "crow". Therefore, his name can be interpreted as "travelling crow."

He is afraid of water. He was in the same youth team as Yo Hiori. He remembers his first crush pretty well: he says she was eight years old and her name was Marisa. Karasu also notes that he feels she is mediocre because she was the prettiest in the class. He prefers bamboo shoot snack to mushroom snack. He was on the same team with Kenyu Yukimiya and Eita Otoya in the Second Team. His nickname is "Assassin". His hometown is in Osaka. His least favorite school subject is swimming. His favorite song is Grapevine-Fly. His favorite drink is Kelp tea. His favorite animal is the falcon. When he bathes, he washes his hair first because he uses a lot of hair wax.

His favorite TV show is Documentary (“HITOSHI MATSUMOTO presents ドキュメンタル”) (a comedy show in which ten comedians try to make each other laugh) His favorite manga is GANTZ (Osaka Arc). He refused to say when he last cried. He is good at modern Japanese literature, chemistry and world history. His hobby is observing, analyzing and evaluating humans. Receiving a surprise gift makes him sad because he hates being forced to feel happy. His weakness is that he can't be nice to mediocre people, he believes he needs to fix that. His favorite player is Ruud van Nistelrooy. His relatives are his mother, father, grandmother and his older sister.

A central midfielder who absolutely controls the midfield area, directing the team's play and breaking up the opponent's attacks. They are known for having the greatest influence on their team's overall performance, driving them towards attack, putting sustained pressure on the opposition and leading by example when the team is defending.

Karasu is known for his tactical cunning, having a reputation for targeting the weakest link/player on an enemy team and focusing his plays against them (as stated by Hiori). His analytical ability was at such a level (along with his ball handling), that Ego made the decision to position him as the defensive midfielder of Blue Lock's 11, to act as the beating heart of the team, in the transition from defense to attack. Karasu has shown an incredible mastery of tactics, being able to break down the U-20's defensive setup and the likely steps they will take to prevent an attack. After doing so, he was able to organize an attack with Otoya and Chigiri to break their defense, which led to Blue Lock's second goal. Karasu has also shown good awareness, knowing when to stop on defense.

Karasu has the best sense of keeping the ball in Blue Lock, due to his spatial and tactical awareness and unique ability to control space with his hands. By measuring the distance between him and his opponent, Karasu uses his body (and more specifically his arms) to block them from the ball, control the space, and allow him to steal the ball from them or dribble past them. Feints: Karasu, along with his ability to control space with his hands, uses devastating feints to his advantage. He usually feigns carelessness with the ball, to lure his opponent, before pushing the ball away, as well as changing the opponent's center of gravity with his hands. Through his expert use of feints and spatial control, Karasu was able to dribble past at least 2 players at a time (Isagi and Shidou), as well as maintain possession when pressured by 3 players at a time (Isagi, Shidou and Nanase).

From the first moment it seemed mediocre to him that he was attracted to a girl like her. What they were mocking was only bringing him closer to her. The truth is, when you are sad or discouraged about something, he doesn't know how to console you, he can't imagine doing that either, but he tries hard to make you feel better, even if it's with silence. Karasu Tabito was a curious boyfriend, he was a good boyfriend and he liked to spend a lot of time with his girlfriend but it was difficult for him emotionally because it was difficult for him to be empathetic in general, he was the type that sought to provide solutions instead of console and he also felt very uncomfortable when I saw someone cry. But when you started dating he started to feel that his feelings for you made him inferior. He thought he should get over you, so he had practically turned your relationship into a constant competition. He minimized your achievements and magnified his, tried to correct you, and was always on the offensive.
