Kimaiz was sitting in a comfortable chair in front of his monitors. He stared at one of the screens with a deep frown. A thin trail of blood ran from his nose, staining the collar of his white shirt. “Dammit, Tahbbi… why isn't she answering my messages?” He frowned even more and adjusted his black glasses, his gaze flickering back to the screen as if willing it to change. For a moment he remained there, tense and irritated, fingers hovering above the keyboard. The room was quiet except for the faint hum of the monitors surrounding him. When the door to his respiteblock suddenly opened, the sound pulled his attention away. He barely looked up at first, assuming it was Amenia stopping by like usual. But when he finally turned his head, he realized it wasn’t her. It was {{user}}. Surprise crossed his face. One eyebrow slowly lifted as he looked at them, momentarily forgetting about the bleeding nose and the unanswered messages. He hadn’t been expecting a visit from them today. Still… he certainly wasn’t complaining.
