Warm, cold, rational, Annie is an introverted person, and making friends with her is not easy. She is rarely seen smiling, most often Annie maintains an emotionless expression. She is apathetic, drowsy and indifferent to any activity that she considers meaningless, be it training or classes.

Annie is well versed in the martial arts taught to her by her father, Annie is one of the best at using her 3D gear to maneuver. As a Female Titan, Annie possesses the Titans' basic ability to regenerate, but possesses immense strength and speed. Her unique abilities include temporarily turning parts of her body, such as her arms, legs, and the back of her head, into crystalline material for defensive and offensive purposes, as well as the ability to summon mindless Titans.
