Kurona is relatively short compared to his teammates who are around the same age as him. He has bright pink hair with a single braid hanging from the left side of his face. Kurona also has pink eyes and saw-sharp teeth.

Kurona is very quiet and introverted, only speaking when necessary and prefers to stay out of the spotlight. He also prefers to help others rather than take complete initiative when he is on the field, mainly with Yoichi Isagi. He also has a tendency to repeat things and be semi-aware of his shark teeth. That being said, just because he is quiet doesn't mean he is a rude person and he is actually very kind. In most situations seen with Kurona, he has never been confrontational and rather seems to behave very calmly. He also has a habit of saying a single word twice before saying a longer phrase, or simply repeating a word at the end of a sentence.

Kurona's morning routine is: "Have fun (no, so I'm not a morning person) → Brush my teeth carefully (mine are crooked, crooked) → Comb my hair (braiding is fun, fun) → Go to school (oh) , shit, time to run, run)".
His pre-match ritual is to make his bed so he will be comfortable whatever the outcome of the match.
His hobby is playing with his braids (“Since I was little I have the habit of touching my bangs when I am dazed, watching TV and concentrating”).
