Yuji Itadori

Itadori is a tall, muscular teenager, standing at 173 centimeters (5'8"). In the manga illustrations, his hair is spiky and light brown[2], while in the anime it is depicted in shades similar to pale pink[3]. He has thin eyebrows and large, light brown eyes. After becoming a vessel for Sukuna, a small line appears under each of his eyes.

Itadori is an honest, friendly person and finds it fairly easy to socialize with others upon first meeting. He cares greatly, not only for his comrades, but for anyone he sees who has a will of their own, regardless of how deep or shallow his connection to them is. He cares greatly about the "value of a life" and to this end will ensure that others receive a "just death." He is easily angered by the sheer cruelty and unfair judgment of other people. Kento Nanami claims that Itadori is able to feel the hatred and pain of others as if it were his own pain.

Blood Manipulation (Sekketsu Sōjutsu?): Yuji Itadori, with the help of Choso and by eating the 4 of the 9 cursed wombs, absorbed the Blood Manipulation technique. Yuji, not mastering the technique well due to the short time it has been in his body, needs help from Choso to use it, in the manga we have seen how he shoots Sukuna with Penetrating Blood. Reliquary Technique (御厨子, Mizushi?): In the midst of the Battle of Shinjuku, Yuji awakens Sukuna's technique by unleashing a Dark Flash upon the "King of Curses." Yuji inherited this technique after having been Sukuna's vessel for a significant amount of time. [2] Among the techniques he has mastered are: Yuji uses the Reverse Curse Technique (反転術式 Hanten Jutsushiki). It is a cursed healing technique that is often very difficult to learn and requires sophisticated manipulation of cursed energy in order to generate positive energy,[21] allowing him to heal wounds and even regenerate entire parts of his body.

Divergent Fist (逕庭拳 Keitei ken?): After Itadori punches a target, his cursed energy flows out and makes a second impact. This technique arises as a result of Itadori being unable to synchronize his energy with his physical strength.[10] Dark Flash - Yuji Itadori - MangaDark Flash (黒閃 Kokusen?): A technique that every shaman is capable of using, but as of yet, no shaman is able to use it at will. When a shaman makes an impact with cursed power within .000001 seconds of the physical blow, space distorts and the cursed power flashes black. Sukuna proposes to make a Binding ContractBinding Contract: Contract with Beneficial Parties (?): It is a contract created through the use of cursed energy made between Itadori and Sukuna. The contract follows the condition: 1. When Sukuna shouts 'Open Promise', Itadori must surrender his body for one minute. 2. Following that, Itadori must forget the conditions of the contract. 3. During the minute they switch bodies, Sukuna will not hurt anyone

He possesses enormous physical strength, capable of easily destroying walls[3] or throwing several heavy objects without much effort. On several occasions he has shown that he stands out for his use of brute force, such as during his battle against Jiro Awasaka, he was able to throw a car at his opponent[4]. He is even capable of throwing a lead ball with enough force to bend a soccer goal[2]. Megumi Fushiguro claims that in a battle that does not involve cursed energy and is pure physical strength, Itadori would emerge victorious.[5] According to Takuma Ino, his level of strength can match that of Kento Nanami.[6] Thanks to his level of strength, he is skilled in hand-to-hand or short-range combat, he learned a little karate from his grandfather[7], and usually has an advantage due to the powerful blows he performs[8][9]. Megumi Fushiguro considers that this type of combat is his specialty and prefers to let Itadori take care of those battles that require closeness with an opponent[4]. Most of the time he makes refined attacks, such as stopping his attack just before impact and adjusting his cursed energy within his fist to generate a double impact[10]. His combat mode is usually complemented by the use of techniques from Taido Martial Arts, in addition to having demonstrated that he is trained in their use. He is not limited to the use of his fists and usually makes use of all his limbs to fight. Among his martial arts attack and self-defense techniques are: Manji Kick (卍蹴り Manji Geri?): is an ancient martial arts technique that eliminates the initial movement. It releases all tension from his knees, hips and shoulders, but instead of falling, this movement takes him to his enemy's feet, from that lower position he uses the momentum to attack with his leg. [11]

His durability exceeds that of an average shaman, and he has faced off against various opponents on several occasions when his body was in a deplorable state. He was even able to fight off a special-class curse after losing a hand and several fingers,[12] and he faced off against Mahito when several of his organs were injured.[13] In addition to his durability, his tenacity means that if his body is at its limit, he is unaware of it and continues attacking without giving up,[14] resulting in him always ending up seriously injured. On the other hand, as a vessel for Sukuna, also known as the King of Poisons, he managed to adopt the same ability and has resistance to all types of poison. However, in poisons that cause physical pain, he is still able to feel said pain but is not greatly affected and it does not usually interfere with his mobility[15], thus demonstrating that he also has a high resistance to pain.

He possesses incredible speed, and during his time as a student at Sugisawa Municipal High School, he was known for his ability to run a 50-meter track in 3 seconds.[16] He can also escape from the range of his opponents at high speed without much effort, and can even do so while carrying things or people with him.[17] In fact, he was able to escape Esou's ultimate Winged King technique while carrying Nobara on his shoulders. He can also move around the battlefield in order to use it to his advantage, and can run while performing multiple exorcisms at once.[18] On the other hand, when the students of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College attempted to assassinate him, he was able to quickly grasp the situation and thanks to his speed and good reflexes, he was able to dodge the attacks of the five opposing shamans.[19] On several occasions, his reflexes combined with his speed have allowed him to maneuver around the surrounding field and he is able to react instantly in order to survive.

Itadori is a curious person and constantly has new questions to ask his instructors. He quickly grasps simple teachings and those that require a little more concentration; he usually dedicates the most time to these in order to learn them quickly. With his great concentration, he is quite good at progressing. Within a few hours he was able to complete the first level of training by watching movies from Satoru Gojo[20] and even after receiving the teachings of Aoi Todo, he was able to progress rapidly and was able to raise the level of his strength and use of his cursed energy.
