Satoru is a thin and fairly tall man, reaching 190 centimeters [2]. His hair is white and he usually wears it combed up with spiky strands when he is working as a teacher or shaman; in his free time, he usually has all his hair disheveled and much of it tends to fall over his face, covering much of his forehead and eyes. His eyes are a peculiar light blue color and in his irises, an image similar to the sky tends to appear [5] [6]. He is considered attractive by many women.

Satoru is a complex individual, as he is generally an authority figure assigned to teach novices about the dangerous world of jujutsu, but can be casual, friendly, and playful towards people like his students and colleagues, but is indifferent and cruel to people like the Shaman executives; he even has a dream of creating the best shamans to fight against them. He is very confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful shaman. By casually dismissing Sukuna's personal threats, he could easily defeat the Curse King.[12]

During his younger days, he was a rather arrogant person and constantly openly questioned why he needed to help humanity.[8] However, after the death of Riko Amanai and the disappearance of Misato Kuroi,[13] along with the betrayal of his former best friend Suguru Geto, caused him to mature greatly.[14]

Despite his relaxed and childish demeanor, Satoru has moments where he becomes serious and ruthless, becoming quite ruthless when facing Curse users and Curse-users in combat. In his fight against Hanami, he broke Hanami's antlers and immobilized him before killing him. According to Suguru Geto, Satoru only uses his full power when no one is around him, although he only does so because he considers them to be a hindrance. He also has no problem taking innocent human lives if it means exorcising the Curses. In Shibuya, Satoru did not hesitate to kill a thousand modified humans. Unlike Kento Nanami, Satoru can be very cold and indifferent to the deaths of innocent people, even so, he cares greatly about the lives of his students and fellow shamans, feeling guilty when Itadori was almost killed by Sukuna.

However, despite his arrogance and strength, Satoru is more human.

INFINITY (無限 Mugen?): Is the neutral form of Limitless. It usually creates an illusion that its target is stopping instead of moving forward, however, its main function is to slow things or people down. [1] Whenever something tries to hit Gojo, it never hits and instead hits the infinity that separates them. A reinforced version of the unlimited neutral, in which unlimited and negative numbers are amplified, giving rise to the creation of impossible situations. By creating these impossible situations, Gojo creates a scenario where the world itself is forced to attempt to correct itself and fill the negative space, causing things to gather in the place of impossible situations and end up generating mutual attraction. Maximum Forward Rotation: Blue Glow (術式順転出力最大「蒼」 Jutsushiki Junten Shutsuryoku Saidai: Ao?): By harnessing cursed energy combined with the power of space attraction, Gojo causes a single point to attract everything around it. He is also able to move the point around himself to attract everything around him to that point.[7] Episode 07 - 97Reverse Rotation: Red Glow (術式反転「赫」 Jutsushiki Hanten: Aka?): is the opposite version of Forward Rotation: Blue. By using the Reversal technique to reverse the properties of Forward Rotation, Gojo activates the divergence of his Infinity, and in turn, causes an attracting technique to become a violently repelling technique. Gojo is allowed to interact with a void, creating a large explosive void that repels[1]. Being an ability that works with positive energy and is formed as a reverse curse technique. The ability has twice the destructive capacity of Forward Rotation. Imaginary Purple - MangaImaginary: Purple (虚式「茈」 Kyoshiki: Murasaki?): allows the generation of cursed energy combined with positive energy by molding it.

Territorial Expansion: A technique in which cursed energy is used to construct an innate territory with a technique that encompasses the surrounding area. Episode 07 - 210 Immeasurable Void (無量空処 Muryōkūsho?): results in the formation of an unlimited space that allows its user to transmit unlimited information to anyone caught within its territory. Complemented with the Unlimited Curse Technique, it allows the user to immobilize their opponent, without giving them the opportunity to use the information they receive and they are limited to dying slowly[10].

He possesses a great level of physical strength, which allows him to excel in hand-to-hand combat, however, he is the type that usually dedicates himself to ranged attacks. He is capable of tearing off limbs, exerting force over others with great ease and with simple blows, he is capable of throwing his opponent several meters away [1]. His strength allows him to face curses, even special grade ones, without many problems and with his powerful blows he is capable of causing serious injuries to his opponents. His strength is at its peak when he is subjected to his fits of madness. He was able to throw Jogo a great distance with a single kick[1], exerted force on Hanami while proceeding to exorcise him, and even destroyed a wall after said exorcism[2].

He possesses a high level of speed and is considered by many to be superhuman[1]. He is able to match and even surpass others in the midst of a confrontation and can move around the entire battlefield in a matter of seconds. His speed allows him to effortlessly launch incredible punches and kicks even in the air that are usually almost imperceptible. He was shown to be able to move faster than the eye can perceive, and in his greatest feat of speed, he traveled a great distance from a fight and returned to the battlefield before his opponent even realized he was gone in the first place. [1] Coupled with said superhuman speed, his reflexes allow him to avoid life-threatening situations and be able to dodge them without requiring much effort. When subjected to his berserk outbursts, both his speed and reflexes are beyond logic. He becomes capable of moving through the space around him as if he were part of it. [4]

Gojo's level of durability is unknown since he has rarely been injured or put in dangerous situations, and his technique prevents others from causing him any kind of damage. During his younger days, the only time he was overpowered was during his first confrontation with Toji Fushiguro, where he sustained nearly life-threatening injuries.[3] However, he managed to recover from the multiple stab wounds to continue fighting.[4]

As a professor at the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical College of Magic and head of the Gojo Clan, he is knowledgeable in all aspects of jujutsu. He is not the type to teach his teachings through pure theory and instead prefers practice. He is also quite tactical and has proven capable of calculating his opponent's plans and how to counter them with little information. He has a high level of knowledge of numerical series, convergent and divergent sequences in mathematics, and is also able to determine the mass, speed and shape of certain objects or people.[5] There were times when he learned to master certain techniques while on the verge of death.[4]
